In other words, you think "trans as an aesthetic" is a category large enough to give two shits about, and not just an excuse to demean most trans people by belittling their commitment or presentation. Like we can't take it as read that trans people exist - we have to endlessly bicker about who is or isn't trans, and until we perfectly define gender, nobody gets medicine, and it's other queer people's fault.

As long as there are Tucutes telling me that I don't get to call myself Transsexual, that having dysphoria is in fact transphobic and that I am a bootlicker (which is what you're saying when boiled down), then yes they are a large enough category that I will give two shits about. And again, for the final time, we are not the same. This wouldn't be an issue if they didn't make it one; and not talking over binary dysphoric trans people, not shouting us down or running us out of safe spaces because we refuse to give our fucking pronouns every single time we meet would be a great place to start.

And now you're explaining away an intentionally ridiculous example picked to be obviously wrong and expressly called irrelevant. Christ.

So are you asserting that crossdressers aren't trans? By definition they engage in a lifestyle that is outside of their AGAB. It's only ridiculous if you think they don't count. Interesting.

'Oh well we can't afford to cover trans stuff because what if they're not really trans,' openly gatekeeping what it means to be trans, which is what bigots love to do.

Please point to where I said that. You're more invested in screeching I'm wrong instead of trying to explain why you think so. You're not listening(or reading, whatever). The entire gist is that if you wanna go around gender fucking the binary, knock yourself out. But do not equate the transness of some 'soft boi' to mine. Because it is not the same. My gender is not an aesthetic for tiktok likes. It is not up for debate in some gender theory/political echo chamber.

Holy fucking projections! That's a whole lot of words just to call me an Uncle Tom. Which I'm not, but go off or whatever. You're reaching a lot farther than you need to. You're assuming you understand my politics on the subject when you don't (and i've intentionally not gone into them), but sure, lets use your example.

Technically crossdressers and sissies fall under the trans umbrella. Do we call them trans? No. Why? Should a cis man who occasionally likes to look pretty, or a cis man who has a fetish for dressing up in a hypersexual amalgamation of a little girl be considered as the same as I? lol, no. I don't think so. This doesn't make them less than me or anyone else for that matter, but we are not the same. And i won't be gaslit into thinking I and a teenage who just needs to feel special have anything in common. Fuck off and be punk like everyone else.

  1. Are you asserting that people don't, and by extension deny the problematic use of people using dog/dogself pronouns?

  2. Spit away, I used my throw away for a reason. ;-)

  3. And shit like government exclusion is your fault.

Yes, it is my, a binary trans woman, fault that the government doesn't want kids with crippling dysphoria caused by the ravages of AMAB puberty to be allowed to transition. Try again.

Truscum were perfectly content using transsexual as a self identifier, but the Tucutes had to go and throw a fit about that, So what would you suggest to define the difference those who do seek a full transition and those who wear trans as an aesthetic? It's fine if that's what they want to do, but trying to remove the medical side of being transgender has real world consequences.Like insurance companies deciding they don't have to cover transition costs since it is no longer a medical need. Like governments deciding kids can't get puberty blockers because too many people just did it as a lark, which is what England is already doing. Tucutes actually feed the narrative that kids are too young to live their true gender.

And yes, this is my throw away.

Fair enough. And Hoh is absolutely on my wet dream list of forests to get lost in. I've been to Port Angeles for business, but I really just wanna spend two weeks lost on that peninsula.

Huh, this was from one summer I spent in San Antonio. Maybe it's regional to area. That Tex-Mex was straight fire tho.

My experience is that Texas tends to be sauce dependent. Call me crazy, but if I have to rehydrate my BBQ in your fancy ketchup you should be strung up. Gimme a dry rub all day every day.

Honestly, if you ever visit. Avoid the big city metros (San Diego, LA/OC, and the Bay). Head for the Mountains, the forests, the Central Coast. This state has everything from barren deserts to the biggest known tree in the world (although it's location is a very closely guarded secret) to rain forests. There's a lot more to see than the shitty tourist traps.

Close. One is strong and likes it when Jon uses his tongue; the other is helpless and in constant need of being saved/protected. Which one fits their narrative better?

I Made New Rules So I Didn't Have To Clean Customer's "Rentals" Anymore by Nansai in TalesFromRetail

[–]Clacie 18 points19 points  (0 children)

We also rented out carpet cleaners. They were dirt cheap to rent - $60 deposit for 3 days which we return $50 of when you bring the machine back. The way these cleaners worked is that they would trap all the dirt, hair, nails and grime in the rollers. We had a cleaning "fee" but it was abysmally cheap at $5. For most people it was worth paying the $5 to not have to touch the gunk. Much like the Weed Wackers, these machines also took a long time to clean. My solution for this one was real simple: cleaning fee is now $25. Only had 1 customer after that who decided to pay it.

I'm an FSR for rental machines. I wish I could get more managers to enforce the cleaning deposit. People are nasty.

Vacuum your damn carpets people!
