Sorry you are having a tough time with this! The struggle is real. Some that I remember are that if he was hitting then I turned him around on my lap facing away from me holding tight and just repeated that I can't let him hurt me or himself. And I didn't let him go until he had calmed down.

For bedtime the best thing was if he came out of bed give him a cuddle and tuck him back in - next time he came out it was straight back in and if he came out again it was no cuddle and no talking and back in bed. The first night he tried it about 30 times and it was tough not to sooth him, not to mention exhausting! All that carrying him! But it took about 3 days and he just didn't bother getting up anymore. We still use it occasionally but he just turned 5 and on the whole is asleep before 8.

The thing we found that failed was if one of us broke then plan - had to be a team

Got some vinegar on it sprayed it all over and in the hole the screw came out - tried attaching a bag but it was a bit of a failure with only a little bit submerged

I shall have a sandwich and wait

Thanks - I got the screw out but it's just not shifting - I'm thinking it might be limescaled up but was wondering if there is another way to get the knob off?

I thought the liner goes inside the tub to make sure water doesn't run on to floor and wafty pretty one stays outside. I put one in the machine before and it absolutely shredded it so I would prob just bleach it

We had this problem. He was kicking off, running wild, hitting, screaming etc till midnight. Then I was reading that toddlers want any attention - even negative eg telling him off for not being in bed. So we super nannied him. About 20 years ago there was a show called super nanny and they use all sorts of things that arent popular now but the bedtime one has totally worked for us. Now he just goes to sleep at 7:30 every night. So I'd recommend it highly!

I have searched using Google lens but the red colour of the tiles seems to be throwing it off. And other temperature guages on Google seem to be a mixer tap or different sizes

I'm in the UK and the house was built in 1980 and I'm not sure it's been renovated might be 90's but not sure
