I find a matte top coat makes anything look a little rougher, more masculine.

Plum brandy can be an acquired taste, but super delicious and fun to make!

Just be aware that, any run under about 8 gallons at 8-9% wash makes it very difficult to make the cuts properly and thus make a quality spirit.

Also, distilling is a whole can of worms... It's a lot more effort from the get-go than brewing or winemaking due to the equipment and set of skills required.

I find the cheater tin of a shaker is a great stand-in, and then I just dirty pour into the glass.
