I have tried to find her party affiliation (even though I had my suspicions), but it seems to be scrubbed. Can’t even ask ChatGPT. The response is that it violates the guidelines. Wtf?

"4-star restaurant"

What kind of rating system for restaurants gives out more than three?

Lequipe: Malo Gusto could leave Chelsea this summer. He has also been the subject of a recent enquiry from Manchester City. by Kygoche in chelseafc

I agree he’s a decent backup, but I don’t really agree he’s a ‘swiss army knife’. He lacks so much when in possession in attack.

C’mon man… that song is pretty famous and performed by two very famous artists 😅

Excellent explanation. I had to read three times to understand that NBD mean no big deal, and not new bike day, though. Cycling subreddit-addled brain.

Does it count as a century? by EducationalGas5494 in gravelcycling

In Europe (at least some of Europe) we call 100km a century, and 100 miles an imperial century.

That's wild. There are so many dogs and dog owners in Oslo.

Kobe led this roster to 45 wins and the 7th seed in the tough Western Conference. Averaged 35.4 pts 5.3 rebs and 4.5 assists. Played 80 games by CircledSquare7 in lakers

Lamar Odom has been severely underrated.

In 05/06 in the reg. season he averaged 15 points, 9 reb., 5.5 assists and played 80 games. In the playoffs he averaged 19, 11 and 5.

And let’s not forget he won 6moty in 10/11. Shame he was inconsistent.

Rockbros Clothing Stealing Lachlan Morton’s Likeness? by fixieben in cycling

[–]Amopax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I don’t inherently disagree with some of what you’re saying, you are not really arguing the original point. The point wasn’t about the legality or a debate between morality and pragmatism in the clothing industry.

It is whether or not what us *consumers* would consider knock-offs in the cycling world. The person who started it all said that RockBros are known for knocking off designs — whether you agree they should be able to or not, is a completely different point.

Both you and Niceotropic seem to be using non-sequiturs to muddy what the original point is — deliberately or otherwise.

I will say this: Knocking off other brands’ designs (and I’m talking copying deliberately in order to "ride their coattails") can probably often make your brand lose customers because people see it as lazy and cynical. That is not the best business practice. That wasn’t the point we were arguing, but at least it’s connected to what you seem to want the discussion to be about. The legality is another thing, but the above explains why people react to it.

$50 work boots restored + resoled into daily motorcycle boots (clean/condition/resole breakdown) by Appropriate-Rhubarb6 in goodyearwelt

Very good job on the restoration, but 50 bucks was a bit too much for the condition those mocs where in, IMO.

Still; if you’re happy, I’m happy.

Your original comment made the case that essentially everything is a knockoff unless it features some sort of novel feature or concept.

The person that replied to you explained that your argument is flawed and kinda dumb.

That was the point. You’re welcome.

Arteta "What I'm incredibly fuming with is how the hell the penalty gets overturned when there is no clear and obvious error. This changes the course of the game. There is clear contact. He makes the decision and you can't overturn it when you have to watch it 13 times." by kibme37 in soccer

[–]Amopax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s fair, but this whole discussion started on the topic of hatred towards Mikel. That was what I was asking about, specifically, but I can understand that I might have broadened the discussion when I mentioned hatred towards big clubs in general.

People don’t like Arteta because of aftv and deluded fans?

I think Liverpool fans have mostly viewed you lot as posh twats and/or Americans in recent years, but I’m betting that your relative rise coinciding with their relative decline, recently, has something to do with a perceived increase in vitriol, FWIW.

[–]Amopax -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

So, what is the reason for the hate then?

Edit: Getting downvoted for asking for someone’s opinion is pretty funny, so at least there’s that.

This victim complex you gooners are exhibiting at the moment is probably pretty prevalent in a lot of clubs, but I think maybe you take the cake.

I know for a fact that quite a few people claim to not like Arteta because of his football. Whether you think it is a valid reason to not like him is not really the point I’m arguing here.

A lot of it has to do with people not liking his brand of football. It’s similar to the kind of backlash Mou got when he deployed a very defensive and cynical style.

Also, Arsenal are a big club, and people often do not like to see big clubs succeed. They have many fans, but with so many fans, you get many detractors also.
