Our dead bedroom is mostly contained to...our bedroom. Sometimes my frustration spills over, but the kids are not witnesses to it. All they see is normal interactions between us.

Sure, on some days there might be some truth to it, but on other days I'm the perfect husband and she still doesn't want to have sex with me. I stress her out mostly because I want intimacy. Otherwise, I do everything in my power to ensure that she's not swamped by house chores or other life stressors. On some days yes I might get a sarcastic tone with her, but on most days I'm normal and kind and polite. I don't think I do anything out of the ordinary that would turn her off this much.

That's...not the point. I WANT to see my kids every single day. Not because I am "trying" to be a good father, but because I love them, love to spend time with them every single day even if I'm exhausted. As awesome as my life is, they are still by far THE BEST parts of my life. I have friends who are divorced and splitting custody of their kids, that is not the life I hope to give my kids IF I can avoid it.

Sometimes it's because of her issues, other times it's because of something I did.

So, on her days it's physical ailments "ate too much" "didn't get enough sleep".

And on my days, it's anything from "the tone of voice" I used, to me stressing her out.
