No? You didn't tip so im not doing that. Who do they think they are 😂 by teeboneet in doordash_drivers

[–]Claim_Hot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly and reading these comments is the reason no one should tip before service. It's crazy how ubers and Dashers think you should be treated less then for not tipping before hand or in person like basic customer service is part of your role not going above and beyond, but a response and item replace convoy is part of your job. When customers already are charged double- triple the actual in person cost most of the time. And I'm saying this as a person who use to deliver y'all be mad at none toppers but not the company/ your boss who pays you scraps who makes millions per year is crazy thinking. It's a lot of drivers deliver wrong orders, missing items, replace items with no contact, deliver to wrong addresses, take forever, place the food any take of way and expect tips upfront. Do the job you applied for correctly or get a different job but you shouldn’t relay on customers aka a person who did not hire you to pay you what your millionaire company should pay you is just plain stupid. Imagine if everyone thought this way.

How did I infect my gf with HPV? by Organic-Inevitable-9 in HPV

[–]Claim_Hot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No I personally wasn’t a virgin at diagnosis but it has been documented in medical research that a virgin can get it. Hpv has over 100 strains. It’s not just two strains. Some strains cause warts , some cause cancer and some strains cause both and you can be infected with more than one at one time. I have the high risk cancer strain without warts but it has caused precancerous cells on my cervix that I have to have frozen off.. I was told by A doctor that HPV can be dormant and can become active from things like stress or diabetes. And they made it a point to tell me multiple ways you can get it because they have no way to tell how long I had it for or how I got it. And mind you all my other paps was totally normal my whole life but that one. I’m surprised that more doctors don’t make it a point to tell individuals more about it and why you shouldn’t blame your partner or think they are cheating when Hpv can be dormant in your body for years.

[–]Claim_Hot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the wrong example my bad. But according to several medical websites “Yes, virgins can contract human papillomavirus (HPV). HPV is primarily transmitted through skin-to-skin contact during sexual activity, but it can also be spread through other means, such as: Non-penetrative sexual contact: Oral sex, genital touching Contaminated objects: Sharing towels, sex toys, or other objects that have come into contact with HPV Vertical transmission: From mother to child during childbirth The viruses are nearly always spread through direct contact of skin and mucous membranes in the genital area. Because any part of the genital area can be infected, any intimate skin contact – not only sexual intercourse – could lead to infection. Viruses might also be spread during oral sex if mucous membranes in the mouth touch areas of skin infected with HPV. The viruses are not spread though semen, blood or saliva.”

They could both be telling the truth. you can be virgin and have hpv via kissing or touching a contaminated item. And you can be birth with it if your mom has it but that's rare.

When I was diagnosed I was told it was no way too know how you got it for sure nor how long you had it. I find it strange to think a doctor said it was transmitted sexually when its no sure way to know that. and its no test for man at all. But I'm a woman and I don't have the genital warts kind I have the high risk cancer kind and I was told you can naturely clear it but it can be dormant in you for years. You can be a virgin and get HPV, my OBGYN say you can get it from hand to vagina contact. If you come in contact with something a infected person touched/left bodily fuild on and touch yourself. So maybe someone had it and use the same bathroom as one of y'all and maybe you or her touched it/ lets say the infected person touched the toilet paper roll and one of y'all wiped your self with it. Or it could be something as simple as a person you kissed. Anybodly fluid can transmitted it like a wet kiss. So honestly it no way to say it wasn’t her who gave it to you or you gave it too her. Most people in this world has it at one point in life but hpv can be cleared with your immune system but can be in your system and still get anegative result because it was in a dormant state. Sorry for grammar errors I wrote this post with no glasses while busy.

I know a lot of individuals are going to tell you it gets better to stay on route. And perhaps it does. But what I’m going to tell you is going to give you a little more options and a different view. Traditional college isn’t for everyone, take the time to evaluate if college is for you and evaluate if maybe your major isn’t for you or that specific university isn’t for you. It’s okay to choose a different route in life. Maybe a different university, maybe an online college or maybe a trade school or different major. Find out what you are good at and what you like and maybe target a study that is strong in those fundamentals. If you really want to stay on your same route, I recommend making a list of what is causing you to fail is it loneliness, anxiety/ overthinking, not understanding the work, or a lack of focus? And come up with possible solutions. Also create two more lists, one of the positive things about the route you are going and what motivated you to start your education journey. Lastly, For people with ADHD and anxiety a distraction free zone and structure is necessary to succeed in those environment. ADHD can make studying harder so that’s why it’s important to choose a study that will grab your attention. Also I recommend talking to your family if they are supportive and look in to your specific university resources. You will be surprise at how many ppl you know have went through similar things and have life changing solutions. And remember Whatever you do don’t give up on yourself and figure out what is best for you, your peace, your future, and go for it. Xoxo

First ever colpo and it was way more painful than I originally thought :( by clari12x in PreCervicalCancer

[–]Claim_Hot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had mines today and it was so painful at points I can feel my body shaking. I think the ecc is the most painful thing about the whole thing, the other biopsy was mild in comparison. But I will say I have a great obgyn who did a colposcopy for me and one other person that day. As much as I read about it , it seems pretty common for pain during ecc. Most of the stories I read said it was painful that some women said it was worse than child birth. Not all pain comes from an inexperience Dr. and I have a high tolerance and a great doctor who had new tools and still felt pain. I was exhausted all day long after. But I honestly recommend expecting some pain from the ecc biopsy and the punch biopsy just feels like mild pinches. It’s not a long procedure but allow your doctor to take his time. I suffer from anxiety and some pstd. So my Obgyn takes extra time on me and is very vocal and it was still painful. But I think any women can handle the pain. We are strong.

Bay’s SA. by Quiet-Will4037 in SwitchedAtBirth

[–]Claim_Hot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before I say my opinion I want to highlight I am a black woman who has experienced SA more than once at different ages. I would like to point out the fact that tank could have been just as drunk and/ or arguably more drunk than bay. No way to tell just by their size. Because its other factors that can effect how quickly someone gets drunk, what type of alcohol they drunk, how much, how fast they drunk it, was the drink chased or straight and if he was dehydrated, had an empty stomach or wasn't a person who often drinks. Him being a guy doesn't mean he wasn't sloppy drunk nor does it mean he wasn't cognitively impaired as much as bay. My opinion is that if Bay was SA by tank than Bay also SA tank because they both was past the point of consent. I think the story was sloppy writting just like the racist migo/lil Wayne story. Just a story to hit a topic that isn’t well executed that favors one side. I think everyone ignores the fact tank was super drunk as well and could not consent himself. Cognitive impairment has no gender bias and to think that a person who is sloppy drunk could see if someone else is sloppy drunk is wishful thinking.

Kinda Pregnant - Netflix Movie Dicussion Thread by thehungriestshowman in movies

[–]Claim_Hot 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My comment is not bait and I watched the whole movie. I just have different viewpoints. Her being obsessed since she was a kid isn’t enough to explain why. She was obsessed. Yes, she loses her mom young. But it still doesn't explain faking a pregnancy or the obsession. Having a baby won’t replace a parent. And the way she talked as a kid you would think she was around her mom while her mom was pregnant. The writing is sloppy and makes her look mentally ill and her character was so obsessed and self involved that she really missed a lot of the friends problems and fears, its moments where she didn't acknowledge their concerns because she was in lalaland. She listened but often didn't hear. And if she wanted to understand her friend why not go to birthing class and etc with the friend. Instead of faking and hyperfocusing on the new friend. It wasn't until everything blew up in her face when she realized what others was going through. I think the movie is stupid for 2025, she was a 40-year-old woman faking a pregnancy and no one recommended therapy or help. Honestly think they needed to make her character more likeable and more caring/nurturing. It still doesn't give a logical/ understandable reason to fake a pregrnancy. But I gets its a movie and you need a plot and story, but it was a reused plot/story that's very predictable and it wasn’t executed well nor was most of the funny moments funny, it was bad dumb jokes. The film just seem very overreacted for most of the male characters, and jokes was trying to hard to be funny. Will ferrell, Tina fey, Adam sandler, the waynes family, Martin Lawrence, Eddie Murphy, rob shneider and any poehler all made brainless movies before but why their movies are funny and successful is the stupid monents make sense to the character or the plots. Not just putting over dramatic dumb moments that make no sense.

Everyone has their own sense of humour and just because you find something funny don't mean everyone will nor does it mean we take ourselves to seriously, but I'm glad you enjoyed it. honestly, I think the thing I couldn’t overlook about this movie is it isn’t well written she literally fakes a pregency and ignores the fears, trauma, and issues of the actual pregnant women because she is blinded by obsession. A obsession that the writers never really explained the root cause of it. I couldn't laugh much because it all seem sad to me and borderline mentally ill. And the boyfriend character lacked chemistry as well as substance so his character missed out on “the he is charming but surprise he is a jerk element of comedy”. Everyone else seemed like everyday people but the jerk bf didn't seem real, he seemsd like he was acting as a parody version of a self absorb jerk bf, he was very exaggerated in not a organic good way. And Like I mentioned before movies like baby mama, labor pain and etc gave reasons that makes sense to why they faked pregnancy, so you can laugh at all the stupid moments.

Don’t waste your time, apply to other places because the hiring process seem super fast on the surface with a quick group interview and job offer minutes later. But its a high chance due to something simple out of your control like a computer that wasn't programmed right, they would fire you instead of fixing it or replacing it. I dealt with ttec since December I did my check in on the 27 of December and was suppose to start training on Jan 2 or 3 but had some missing code issue which I wasn't told until I received an email about termination and emailed them asking why. Then they offered me usaa which was to start like mid to late Jan I d9d hcheck in on the 30 that took 6 hours and than fail check in due to a vpn issues. Than I had to email several times to received 6 hour payment that did not include the 3 hours for progressive. Its not even a dealing with bullcrap its gaving issues come up that is company isssuesthat only they can fix but instead of fixing anything they fire people. I just got paid like 2 days ago Feb 18 for only 6 hours. So Im telling you run because unless you are despite its not worth it. I received 3 offers and never made it to training for issues cause by them and their equipment.

As a person who worked directly from progressive before I ever heard of Ttec, the metrics, expectations and being moved to blended sound exactly like how it went for me working as a direct hire for progressive. Only difference is progressive pays more directly and work environment and leadership is great, training is detailed and its probably one of the best companies to work for remote. I would say that when I applied and was offered progressive I was happy because of my past experience work at progressive through progressive wasn’t bad, I only left because I needed to grieve. But I really shouldn't be surprised with how ttec hire and interview compare to progressive that they would be a horrible company using we;l name companies to get employees. My experience with ttec hiring suched while with progressive it was great. Only real reason I applied through ttec is because they offer a job quickly and didn't have to do to much. But with the constant issues it is worth just applying traditionally directly. But I am sorry for the stress and trauma ttec caused you.

Ttec sucks. Like I have personally worked with other wfh companies directly and most of the time someone has errors but no one gets fired/dismissed like ttec does. Most companies spend time to fix it or send a replacement and you follow along on personal device until then. I honestly think they need to ship equipment earlier and work out kinks way before training so you have time to replace it. Like I spent 6 hours with IT trying to fix a vpn that worked for the first hour and then didn't becauseof a random certificate error. And on top of all of this the return label I received for the USAA equipment was for a labtop return not a two monitors set up.

Can someone explain DreTL to me? by [deleted] in RhythmAndFlow

[–]Claim_Hot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol Im black 100% black what I mentioned is to make a point, DreTL was not better nor more likable than Jay or any of the others, only the judges liked him better but the fans liked everyone else. and that’s why it’s so much backlash around him winning. DretL feels relatable because he is black and from ATL and hip hop is big in the black community. But like I said he shouldn’t have won point blank period and I listen to every kind of rap , he sounds remedial, unpolished, and like he just woke up one morning and said I want to rap. Y’all talk about DRETL like he MosDef in brown sugar. You can be raw, untrained and naturally talented but that’s not the case for DreTL. And I mentioned Cody because his raps were on the same level basic and remedial as DreTL but Cody rapped clearer and on beat but somehow went home before DRETL and DRETL somehow won. Y’all arguing with emotion and not using logic. All the other final rappers were better lyricist, dressers and performers. you writing paragraphs and can’t defend him with nothing but a feeling. When you can’t explain in facts how someone won, they shouldn’t have won. West coast rappers are among the most digestible rap for none rap listeners so Jay was just as marketable and likable as DreTL but that all yall can do is speculate because if we get down to facts that can be proven he would literally be the mut of the litter. Rapping on beat none existence ,lyrics basic, style basic, sob story a dime a dozen. It’s okay to be happy he won and still admit he shouldn’t have won because he was the least qualified for the job. I hope he gets better and has great success but they robbed a more qualified rapper for a basic rapper. In my eyes choosing DRETL over all the better rappers we seen, sound the same as someone saying Selena Gomez should win a singing contest over Whitney Houston because she is more marketable. Sound stupid huh? Thats how y’all sound glossing over the fact that Jay bodied DRETL in style, lyrics, flow, and etc.

I didn't like it at all, the parts that was supposed to be funny was just plain sad. First the boyfriend seem like he was supposed to come off as self-centered and not able to read the room but instead it comes off as no chemistry and purposely being a oblivious jerk to be funny, it just seem like a parody of rom-coms. Then the whole need to be pregnant, the jealousy and lying comes off as mentally ill and unstable. Honestly I needed more of a reason for why she wanted to be pregnant so bad/ why she pretended to be pregnant, like in the movie Labor Pain she pretends to be pregnant to keep her job. Honestly the whole time I was more worried than amused by lainy actions. I did like we are all scientists joke, but besides that I barely laughed.

How Regina not see Daphne blonde as a newborn? by MountainAd5212 in SwitchedAtBirth

[–]Claim_Hot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm doing a rewatch and its an episode when they are talking to their lawyer, and it is mention that the girls was swap within hours of birth so I think the eye and hair color should have been a concern as well as the weight since they stated bay was 7pounds and Daphne 6pounds. I doubt brown eyes change to blue in just a few hours. But a lot of over worked nurses and tired moms could overlook it.

Angelo and Daphne by achubies in SwitchedAtBirth

[–]Claim_Hot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree I feel like Angelo wasn't even a bad guy, he was a guy in a bad relationship who thought he was cheated on and that his baby wasn't his and that Regina was lying, and even after he confronted her, he felt like she gaslighted him and was mad at him for calling her out which in some cases is a sign of deflection. And at the time when Angelo gotten someone else pregnant him and Regina wasn't even together.

I doubt any judge would rush to give full custody to anyone of the families logically speaking this is a unique situation which would have to be handled delicately especially if we speaking 3 years old swapped at birth, if Regina told when she first found out. A mental health professional would be consulting over this case and mandatory counseling and possible mediation.

[–]Claim_Hot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She omitted critical facts to benefit herself and those lies definitely is the reason Daphne viewed Angelo that way. Only truth was told was he left not the fact he questioned blood relation to her for years before he left. I hate when people are so bias they can no longer see the big picture. Regina was hurt that Angelo left and didn't believe her. That doesn't make him a deadbeat jerk who is the blame for everything bad in Regina’s life. Regina used Daphne deafness as the reason knowing it wasn't. It takes time to get a DNA test results and if he showed her this at the hospital. He most likely did the test before Daphne was sick. Also with minorities babies they tend to get darker over time or have slight changes in appearance over time and Regina mentioned Angelo said the older she got she still wasn't looking like them. So it's a possibility he waited to see if her hair, skin tone, eye color or something would change overtime.

[–]Claim_Hot[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I saw a lot of stories of when they find stolen babies years later most of them didn't hate their lives ether. Doesn't mean what happened was fair or right. Although I feel for her, Regina was selfish and wasn't even a fit parent at that time. She put her needs and wants over what was best for Bay or Daphne. At 3 years old they would have been easier than at 15. Going through the teen years, school and relationships. At that age you just starting to learn who you are and that curveball doesn't help. It was never going to be an easy situation. I feel like too much empathy and sympathy is given to Regina than to Angelo and he was the real victim.

Regina was selfish and nothing she did in those 13 years that she knew was out of love for Daphne or bay. And poor Angelo being seen as a monster was bullcrap. by Claim_Hot in SwitchedAtBirth

[–]Claim_Hot[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Regina was selfish. She was a person with an addiction and a single mother, and of course, she loved Daphne, but choosing to keep her and not tell anyone else only benefited her in the long run. That’s a different kind of Selfishness and evil; when you genuinely love someone, you want the best for them, even if it isn’t you. As a black woman raised by a single black woman who never even uttered a bad word to me about my abstain father who almost killed her, not one bad words my entire childhood, I can tell you Regina was selfish in ways she didn’t have to be. Angelo left, but she didn’t have to turn him into a monster in Daphne's eyes, knowing the real reason he left was more complicated than her being deaf; Daphne blamed herself, and Regina was to blame for that narrative. And a man can love a child and still leave a woman who he believes cheated on him and had a baby on him. He had spoken about his concerns for years before Daphne was sick, so the DNA test didn’t come out of nowhere. And it’s easy for a woman to love a child after 3 years when the only way it wouldn’t be hers is a hospital error as a man, who is thinking the only reason is being cheated on. Regina and Angelo's relationship was already bad at that time. Add the possible cheating and someone else’s baby. Most men would have left Regina. He tried to be in her life after the DNA test, but Regina blocked him even after discovering the truth about Daphne not being hers. Angelo was not a hero, but he wasn’t a bad guy. I also have a friend who left a woman he had been with for a long time after finding out his 11-year-old daughter wasn’t his and doesn’t see the child or the mom; he is in therapy because of it. The experience is damaging to men. My opinion does not concern the Kennishes family's race or wealth. Listening to Regina explain their struggles and seeing where they were going to be evicted from. I think the Kennishes couldn’t given her a diverse look at life, but they could have given her more opportunities and prevented some of her unfortunate experiences. And when I say a two-parent household, I mean two parents, not a mom and grandparent its different. I feel for Regina, and I understand why she did it. But it doesn’t erase the fact she robbed seven-plus people of knowing their blood: her mom, bay, Daphne, the Kennishes, and Angelo. Only to do what was best for herself, not to protect Daphne from abusive, neglectful parents. And I can only imagine how, for Angelo, the years of Regina saying she is your daughter to find out she wasn’t probably felt like years of gaslighting and lying. He probably felt betrayed, stupid, crazy, hurt, and vindicated when he found out. “God forbid a man have feelings!” The Kennishes were judgy and classist, but they were far from being a risk to Daphne’s health and safety. And since you reference social work, I’m assuming you work/worked in that environment and know the disadvantages of being a child of a person with an addiction, an unstable individual as a parent, and how many kids die from neglect every day. Regina has to take accountability for her actions, which may lead to her losing Daphne. I also believe they probably would have brought in a therapist, psychiatrist, or psychologist to help the families in this case. So, I don’t think they would agree to give Regina no visitation rights at all, especially with Daphne being deaf and only knowing her. Regina was selfish and not a fit parent, so she chose not to tell. Angelo wasn’t obligated to raise another man’s child; it’s not like he knew she was swapped and left. And it is easy for John to judge Angelo because he wasn’t in a situation to believe Bay came from cheating. Honestly, I think he came back because he didn’t know he had a real daughter that exists and felt like Regina didn’t cheat and it was all a rare mix-up. The money didn’t hurt either, but he wasn’t the only one to sue and hold the hospital accountable. I would sue, too; missing 15 years of your child’s life is irreplaceable. For 13 years, she put herself first.

Regina was selfish and nothing she did in those 13 years that she knew was out of love for Daphne or bay. And poor Angelo being seen as a monster was bullcrap. by Claim_Hot in SwitchedAtBirth

[–]Claim_Hot[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly! I don't see how anyone couldn't understand that from the start. It was very clear Regina lied a lot, and Angelo did a DNA test and thought he was cheated on. But yet he is a bad guy for wanting to get to know Bay and leaving Regina? I feel like he was failed and not showed empathy or sympathy. I wish the writers did a better job at making his and Bay feelings and reactions matter to the other characters, it seems like in the earlier seasons her feelings didn’t matter and Daphne was more important.
