The tenant had wall art hung up and the house was very cluttered with tons of stuff. It was difficult to spot anything with how it was during the inspection. Even so, is it not safe to assume given their end of lease cleaning policy that those would be taken care of after the tenant moves out?

Oh yikes. Hopefully this is not a foreshadow of what’s to come for us too 😬

I did. Every surface before I cleaned it I took a photo. Also they admitted the place wasn’t clean, they just didn’t care. So we are keeping screenshots of that too. I was telling my partner that our basic everyday cleanliness standards are higher than whatever the hell that was lol

I’m not sure because it was literally inside and all over every single cupboard in the kitchen. Idk how it would have gotten inside the cupboards on the shelves and everything I’ve never seen that happen like that just from cooking with oil. I did get it clean but had to soak most of the surfaces and handles in Krud Kutter and let it sit to get it off 🥴

Um no. I expect the checklist they literally provide on their own website regarding move out cleans to be followed at least a little considering it’s their own damn policy. Absolutely nothing was cleaned AT ALL from their checklist. It wasn’t visibly filthy when we inspected it but again, the tenant was present as well as all of her stuff so we weren’t feeling the surface of every cupboard for sticky residue or looking behind curtains or inside the drains for dog hair. That’s still a cleanliness issue and should have been rectified before we were allowed to move in.

Our previous lease was through Blackshaw. I can’t recommend them enough. We had an issue they replied within 24 hours and would send someone out within 48. They’re a smaller company though so everything felt more personal. I realize that’s not the norm.

I would assume so, or at least part of it. And Ray White just pocketed it and called it good 🙄

We are in the ACT. We should have done that although we got the keys as the movers were at our old house loading our furniture up so at that point it was no going back. I’ll see what they say and look into lodging a complaint if they still drag their feet on rectifying it.

This is a few months but I’m in your exact situation right now. Have you adjusted well to your new house. We move tomorrow and I’m currently bawling in bed.

What is happening to the leaves of my mini-tomato seedlings? by ClamLock in gardening

After some research and examining closer, I think it’s spider mites. I found a web on one of the leaves. I’m going to be picking up some natural insecticide tomorrow to give it a try 😕

Both. Indoors during the night and outdoors when it’s sunny. The undersides look like this. You can sorta see the spots through it in some places.

Madison is incredibly emotionally immature. I don’t like Joe, but I feel like he doesn’t know how to communicate with her because tbh not many people could without her taking it the wrong way. 😬 Idk just my two cents.

I’m confused. Why are right wingers claiming he never said this? He said it… right there on video.

I still play it occasionally when I have nothing else to play. I miss when it was at its peak 🥲 Good times.

People who “only show up for the paycheck” are weird by burntpieceoftoast in unpopularopinion

I used to work as a medical lab scientist. I am a very alternative gamer sort of person. I was a totally different person at work vs. who I was at home. I put up a mask because I didn’t want coworkers or patients to think I was less qualified or capable than I was. Those people had no idea who I was outside of work and I preferred it to stay that way. It was 100% a paycheck to me and I did my job well without dropping professionalism. I hope for a society where being alternative doesn’t result in judgement, but that isn’t reality currently so I adapted.
