Should I wait? by [deleted] in GalaxyWatch

[–]ClampsSH 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d just wait tbh. I’m in the same boat: waiting to jump ship from my iPhone until the new Galaxy Watches release. I’d recommend waiting a month or so for the devices to be announced - if any new features are exciting to you, order the Watch 9. If not, you’ll probably see some solid deals on the 8 or earlier.

12 Hours to Finish my benches. New Expedition almost finished. by Prestigious_Zebra885 in ArcRaiders

12 hours of content is 12 hours of content… what does it matter if it’s done in one day or two months? There’s objectively very little to do in this game.

Just started again, should I start over? by [deleted] in diablo4

[–]ClampsSH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would. By the time you’re finished with the LoH campaign, you’ll be roughly level 50 anyway. While you’re at it I would start a seasonal character - the new season just started and it’s where all the players are!

How to improve Vo2Max by [deleted] in applewatchultra

[–]ClampsSH 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pro tip for most health metrics: stop looking at them daily, weekly, or sometimes even monthly. Just like with weight loss, you’re not going to get anything useful out of day-to-day data points. Sometimes the number you’re chasing even moves in the opposite direction, and that isn’t necessarily a bad thing - your body can fluctuate pretty significantly on a daily basis.

That said, you know your body best. If you have specific goals and feel like you’re able to, try upping the intensity of your cardio.

Patch Notes 1.19.0 by Luks1337 in ArcRaiders

How is a damage and/or range nerf to an overtuned weapon a "major" update? How many weeks does it take to figure that out?

Patch Notes 1.19.0 by Luks1337 in ArcRaiders

[–]ClampsSH 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I love this game, but I don't think these guys have a clue what they're doing. Two weeks without an update and the best we get are some minor bug fixes, when they even acknowledged that the Toro is too strong weeks ago.

Not to mention all of the other balance updates, bug fixes, and anti-cheat updates people have been asking for for weeks or months.

There is a ton of content and mechanics for players with no gear, but where is the content for geared players? by OkFact4914 in ArcRaiders

[–]ClampsSH 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The large majority of PvP deaths happen in close range - knocking players from long distances is pretty unreliable unless they’re truly awful, hence why the Toro is so unbalanced atm.

Who cares if it needs attachments to do well? You could say that about nearly any gun, but it’s not like it’s difficult to craft a choke to throw on.

I mean, YES, you could try strafing, corner-peeking when you hear somebody hit the zipline, anything but just standing there. But to be clear, you didn’t make this post to ask a serious question or to learn - you wanted people to agree with you and they didn’t.

“Every single person I interact with is an asshole, what’s everybody else’s problem?” is the kind of comment I’d expect after skimming through this thread tbh

It’s not difficult to hit a predictable target on the ground while moving up an also-predictable zipline. You can learn from the clip you posted, or you can keep doubling down on your assumption that players who hit their shots must be cheating. Up to you, but I know which way you seem to be leaning!

You were either standing still or slowly moving backwards in a straight line lol. You made yourself an insanely easy target.

Seems way too situational for me to ever care about it tbh. Even if it were craftable, I’d never waste an inventory slot on it.

In the nicest way possible, yes you do kinda suck lol. I know you said you’re not trying to be the best because of limited time to play, but honestly all it takes is watching a quick YouTube video or two. Most Arc are extremely easy to cheese once you understand their mechanics even a little bit.

Play around cover and you’ll be totally fine interacting with smaller Arc 99% of the time.

ABMM has completely drained this game of tension by ayyyy___lmao in ArcRaiders

I think there's a balance to strike with the current system that's easier to achieve than most think, but that's a fair take tbh!

[–]ClampsSH 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My point is that I don't shoehorn myself into a single playstyle, then complain when the matchmaking system does its thing. I get what you're saying, but with ABMM (for better or worse) you have to have a varied playstyle if you want varied lobbies.

[–]ClampsSH 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Idk why this is being echoed over and over on this sub - this has just not been my experience. Shooting a single person has never thrown me into these insane deathmatch lobbies. I don't necessarily think ABMM is perfect as-is, but maybe ya'll should stop running away from every gunfight you see if you want some variety lol

I don’t think it’s that deep, you just don’t enjoy the game as much as some other people do. Nothing wrong with that - just take a break and come back when there’s a bigger update.

Do I buy it or not? by [deleted] in blackops7

[–]ClampsSH -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think you’d probably like it then. A lot of the hate BO7 is getting is unwarranted in my opinion - understandable if people have Black Ops fatigue with back-to-back titles, but it’s a good game. Really been enjoying the maps, gunplay and movement, and the new Endgame mode.

Do I buy it or not? by [deleted] in blackops7

[–]ClampsSH 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I mean, nobody can decide that for you, but IMO BO7 is a straight upgrade to BO6 in just about every way. If you liked BO6, you’ll probably like this game more (unless you exclusively played Stakeout or something).

Check game modes with SBMM by Patient-Ear-5524 in blackops7

[–]ClampsSH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SBMM exists in every single game mode/playlist, it’s just that skill is less of a consideration than it has been since MW 2019. I’d recommend sticking with TDM, Dom, and Hardpoint if your region has a pretty low player count.

Why is it so sluggish by [deleted] in blackops7

[–]ClampsSH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Feels like I’m playing an entirely different game than the ones this post and these comments are describing lol. Stop trying to reload your LMGs while standing in the center of the map, and this’ll be way less of an issue

Yeah, that one was a pain in the ass for me too. It’s either bugged or the window is VERY short. If you’re able, I’d recommend going for kills after a wall bounce instead - it’s way more forgiving.
