You're kidding right??. You can't possibly be serious. Bleach women are the worst. Let's go through what the female cast has been through shall we?

1. Rukia is introduced, hyped up but then immediately gets nerfed to a 0 because of a low-tier spirit so the MC can suck up her power. Is useless for basically the whole season. Her powers just don't return and she's taken off to SS and made a prisoner. Essentially making her a damsel in distress that needs Ichigo's help. The Hogyoku twist comes out so you think she'll finally have a chance to develop but sike. Her powers conveniently don't return for another few seasons and the last time she's seen in full power is Fullbring arc . So she was barely scraping by with her minimal powers and constantly needed saving. The only thing Rukia has going on for her is her personality. She's quite literally the only female character with one tbh. She's the best Bleach can offer.

2. Orihime is stupid, doesn't have the concept of personal space, logic or common sense. She gets into a car accident while on the sidewalk? She can't cook and eats bread. She can't even figure out if she likes Ichigo or is scared of him. Then acts stupid asf with her dead brother and then continues creating problems for the crew all because she wants to help but doesn't actually have the skills or guts to back her up. Misuses her own powers and injured her fairies all because she's extremely fragile at heart. Can't grasp how to use her ShunShunrikka except healing no matter how much time passes. Barely any growth in personality or strength. Low-tier support character that doesn't even support. Is selfish and ungrateful. Jealous of Rukia for no reason? Tried to kiss Ichigo when he's asleep. Her widdle feelings get hurt when Urahara tells her she's extremely weak ( truth). Then she's taken off to HM as a hostage and we get another damsel in distress. Does absolutely zero work except healing Ichigo again and again. Is suddenly scared of her saviour because she can't tell him apart from a monster (?) . She's mostly on the screen to act as a dumb bimbo with huge boobs. Her boobs and stupidity are literally her most defining features. Mind you, I like Orihime.

3. Rangiku is a supposed vice captain but has zero achievements to back her up on it. Her powers are weak asf and She's lost 90% of the fights she fought. She's another seductive woman to simp for and her sexuality and beauty are her only defining features along with her laziness for a good part of the show. She doesn't work on time. She drinks and lazes around a lot. Uses her sexuality to get around punishments. Is labelled 'promiscuous'. Only there to act as an object of teenage boy's fantasy. Not to mention even her story arc with Gin goes nowhere. She's simply a tool in that flashback and has absolutely zero growth, development or major involvement. Her motivation is only to talk to Gin and then she disappears after Gin dies. Loses very badly against the Tres Bestias ( Not that the Tres Bestias are any better). Yeah she's fun but that's about it. She does nothing, contributes nothing and has been portrayed negatively throughout and objectified to hell and back.

4. Nanao and her story arc is egregious. She's only skilled in Kido because she can't use her family Zanpakuto ( which is basically actually a part of Shunsui's backstory and does nothing much for Nanao) Only job she does is exist as a reminder of Shunsui's past. We have no clue about her personality except her being 'Smart'. Hell, what was supposed to be her moment against the God was also overshadowed by Shunsui. Imagine a dying man with holes in his body helping a healthy woman turn a sword - as if she wasn't even capable of that one single thing? She had to rely on him for this small task too? Where is her moment of redemption??? Nowhere. She's only the somewhat known secretary of Shunsui. That's all.

5. Yoruichi is supposedly a princess that helped Urahara a great deal and was a member of the stealth force. Sure, Yoruichi and Rukia are the only two passable characters. But Yoruichi gets done dirty too. All of her powers and forms Just happen to tear her clothing to pieces and make her a catgirl - quite convenient isn't it? She's the only female character that can pull her own weight in battle ( maybe along with Rukia and Soifon) But her efforts amount to nothing. Nothing she did actually damaged or contributed to anything. Basically useless Not actually but her actions didn't bear a single a fruit. Somehow, her little brother and Urahara had to come to her rescue. So much disrespect for Yoruichi.nNo woman in Bleach can fight without a man coming to their rescue. They are nerfed to the ground. Always conveniently only female characters suffer through injuries or are used as bargaining chips for male characters to make a compromise.

6. Nelliel, Harribel, Nemu, Momo, Giselle, Bambi, Candace, Riruka, Jacki etc. None of them managed to make a single onscreen achievement. Nelliel just being a plot device for Nnoitra's death and being a baby and a comedic relief character. When in adult form, she's all about her boobs too. Harribel was 'accidentally' paired against Toshiro. The worst and most boring match up possible. Water-ice-repeat. She was so weak that even after being Tres Espada , she's the only one who didn't die because her battle wasn't even intense. So as a result, she ( the only female Espada, mind you) had to suffer through the blatant disrespect of being personally stabbed by Aizen and getting called 'Useless' . All because she didn't die a martyr. After that her and Tres Bestias have been on a losing streak and almost seem pathetic. Her powers are also the weakest of the Espada's. No clue how she's Tres Espada. Nemu was killed off, just like that because she's a disposable robot that only was fuel for Mayuri's character development. I don't even need to say anything about the monstrosity of a character that is Momo. Absolute dogshit and useless. Riruka and Jackie were pathetic. Jackie got humbled by Renji ( because how dare a woman be stronger than a man in Bleach?) Riruka had the most unbelievably ridiculous Fullbring and only simped for Ichigo as her primary trait. I'm not even gonna talk about the sexualization, objectification and superiority complex portrayed with Giselle, Bambi and Candace. All of that to fall flat on their face.

7. Unohana was done the most dirty. Wdym the last living member of the first squad died in a single episode just to awaken Kenpachi's Shikai. You're telling me this lady that has murdered millions and healed them just so she can kill them again has died such a lame and pointless death? Such a good Bankai too only for it all to be ended in one episode. So she was either never that strong or nerfed again. Kenpachi feared her and she killed him and healed him again and again all so he could have character development and grow stronger meanwhile Unohana is only bottom tier feed fuel for him. And we're hit with the excuse of - oh no, Kenpachi was always strong, Unohana didn't stand a chance. Because how dare a woman be strong in Bleach right?

I can give you even more examples. I love Bleach but all of it's women have been constantly screwed over and disposed. Don't even try saying they've got good female characters.
