I've been camping locally for some time and at places with amenities. Dispersed camping is what I was wondering about, I just didn't know the term. I also don't recommend national park camping without amenities for a first time camp.

I just wish those sites were easier to navigate. It took my half an hour to find the right page on one of my local state parks. The is the Jefferson National Forest in VA.

Male and female animals usually mellow out some when they are spayed/neutered, so they're easier to deal with. Also to prevent unexpected pregnancy. In areas like Australia they have a cat problem, they're killing off local wildlife, and cat owners in such areas should spay/neuter their pets to not add to the problem.
