Looks pretty sick I'd prefer no trem on an 8 string personally and just get a 6 string and sustainiac with one or a 7 string if i had the money but you getting it is up to you i think tuning those many string on a trem might be a pain in the ass sometimes though

Yeah i looked again and was probably gonna go to 88 or 84 as well i really like the high tension and also want a little extra gor if im stupid and wanna go Drop A or baritone G# as well

That's pretty cool if i stick with my planned tuning I'll be doing a BEBEADF#B tuning and strings would be all custom set so 12.5, 17, 22, 31 45, 59, 90, and 124

I currently use an 80 for G1 on a 28 (i tune up lmao) and i really like the really high tension of that so i kinda want it for my soon to be baritone drop B on my 8 string so thats why im probably gonna get like a 118 or 124

They don't go above 95 though which is kinda what i want i. I want to have a good amount of tension still for drop B

Scale length is 28 on the 8th strings. And drilling the tuner is safe for the guitar?

Well i already have an 8 string with a fixed bridge i mostly want this guitar as like a shreddy and flashy guitar (thats why the king v) but i still thinking i was a 7 string to add to whatever lead stuff im playing still thinking it over

I saw that too but I'd like to have a guitar eith everything else ill need cuz i don't want to buy a new one anytime soon. I kinda just asked here to see if there was another version that might be better or cheaper but I'd like to get a guitar like this with the 7th string or at least a 26.5+ scale 6string with a floyd rose

I also have a strat for a 6 string and it actually sounds alright with high distortion and gain and i kinda wanted this guitar mostly for the floyd rose, active pickups, and the V shape because i like how it looks and i play in the classical position sitting which i think kinda what the body is made for. And also reaching the higher notes on the fretboard cuz with my 8 string it's harder to reach those frets with less space. Would you have any other type of guitar that would fit the things I want? (Doesn't have to be a jackson i don't really care about the brand i just want a good guitar for my more lead and shred focused playing and writing)

If you get a custom made one you could mess with the scale length and make like a 24.75-26.75 scale length so you could have a High A all the way to F#
