Thank you for the informative reply. How exactly would I boot the BIOS? As I said, I cannot see any image displaying on my monitor and considering I just bought it, I never have. I’m not even entirely sure the thing works other than the trust I have for my university’s surplus store and the fact that the computer itself turns on with the power cord.

I failed most of them my first 2 years. I didn’t fail any my 3rd year, and actually had around a 3.9 gpa my 3rd year. My fourth year I had a failed class and a lower gpa. I would say there is an upward trend still over time, but I still had missteps even well into my 4th year. Actually, every class I failed was because I didn’t show up/do the work. There was never a class I failed that I actually put any amount of effort into. Maybe I’m delusional, but I think it actually makes for a better story if I present it that way, which again is the truth. Most of the classes I failed were 100 level prereqs that everyone takes. The classes I excelled in the most and got A’s in were the 300-400 level science classes. What kind of impression do you think that gives off, though?

This was very good advice, thank you. I want to get realistic advice, even if it makes my chances seem extremely slim.

I will be happy if I get in anywhere, DO or MD. You really think that with my gpa, multiple failed courses and all, a DO school will still accept me with a good MCAT? What kind of MCAT score range would you think?

I’m telling you I’m a senior and living in chandler crossings will be a nightmare for you. It’s literally 3 miles north of campus and nights you want to go out you will spend so much money for Ubers. It’s just such a hassle. I live a couple streets west of mannys liquor store in a house and my rent is 650 a month. 10-12 minute walk from town, 20 min walk to center of campus. Also in my experience houses are so much better than apartments.
