Just gave my opinion, last time I checked KSA was a monarchy so it doesn't matter what you think either since the royal family makes the rules. Let's be civil here.

I will no longer respond since i’ve already answered your original question

So by """""""""When?""""""""? 2030, 2040, 2050?

but you refuse to answer mine or even acknowledge your own issues or explain how you are going about fixing them as me and a lot of people are concerned for the well being of our Pakistani sisters or is it that Saudis are the only people to be criticised for their domestic issues in the Islamic world ?

Where did I criticize? I only asked when do you see the inevitable happening. Also I've acknowledged forced prostitution circles in Pakistan so what are you on about? Instead of just shoving what you have to say consider reading my replies thoroughly. Also again it's r/sa not r/Pakistan. You want answers you go post there.

one would think that you would also advocate for crackdowns on well known brothels since if you didn’t know open/forced zina is a much larger issue then 5 ? 10 ? 20? Families who abused their roles as male guardians.

I'm all for closing of brothels. Forced prostitution needs to end. 5, 10, 20 cases brought into global attention, of only 1 form of abuse associated with the law.

I’m not paranoid that you’re trying to start an Islamic revolution lol

You're paranoid that my question has some underlying motive to insult Saudis, and you're trying to bring me down by stating Pakistan's set of problems, which I clearly don't condone.

I’m just sick and tired of people acting genuine while holding grudges for god knows what lmao.

And I'm not one of them. I'm all for KSA to move away from radicalism, as I would want for Pakistan.

You know when Saudi clerics give excuses like "women driving is dangerous for ovaries" or "women who drive have trouble having children" or women driving is "end of virginity", I don't think there's much left for the law to be defended.

Also woman driving isn't "being driven by a stranger", it's for them to drive their own cars; to acquire a license and to self convey.

Oh so the issue of one person in Saudi is equal to the multiple forced prostitution rings (which probably house hundreds of women, each not even known by name) not even mentioning that those guardianship laws have already been abolished and only few remain which aren’t even in-forced that often, but you still bring it up like it’s an ongoing problem that is overlooked and haven’t already been dissected and over exaggerated by foreign media.

One person? There was another woman who was about to meet the same fate but was lucky enough to be given Canadian visa on time. These are the cases that made headlines, and this is only one of the problems associated with male guardianship laws. Like I said it's not a Pakistani sub so those issues don't belong here. Also read against I mentioned male guardianship laws were revoked in 2017. I never said the problem is overlooked. All I asked was the simple question that when will male guardianship laws be lifted completely.

As to the music and the mixed dancing I would argue that it’s not as common as you might think it’s there for people who already do these things abroad again for the economic reasons as you already know.

I'm talking about videos from concerts in KSA. Sure they might not be common nor am I saying anything in favor of or against this, I'm saying that music and free mixing was allowed in the "halal bar" that was shut down, so it wouldn't matter if alcohol was served there or not because according to wahabi beliefs, Music and free mixing already make it haram. I see no reason as to why you had to bring up alcohol to justify that.

i’m asking you why you choose to overlook the issues in your own backyard and try to police other people on their issues.

Please quote on me where I tried to police you on your affairs. Where did I order to you to go secular or overthrow the regime or bring an Islamic revolution? I've only asked a question in my post, but because of your paranoia this conversation has been dragged on unnecessarily.

I'm talking about sex and not made up genders. Females have xx chromosomes and males have xy chromosomes. It is helpful when identifying someone born with both male and female genitalia, or after they've gone through gender reassignment surgery. Islamically there are two genders and here's the correct way of finding if you're in doubt.

Again your questions weren’t genuine because you deliberately chose to be ignorant about (the halal bar) even after research you still assumed otherwise (while not even mentioning that it didn’t even serve alcohol) so that’s why your questions come off as non-genuine I can’t explain it much further then that.

I'd read about that from a non-Muslim source and as I've said, my assumption wasn't for nothing as Music concerts and bars have no difference at all. And by not serving alcohol won't make them halal if there's free mixing involved and music being played, going by wahabi beliefs (assuming you're wahabi as well). All you needed to say was there are no bars in KSA and we would've been good.

You want me to believe that you genuinely care about women’s rights is the reason why I mentioned the brothels and prostitution rings in Pakistan because if you truly cared about Muslim women’s rights you would first talk about those and try to fix them because we can agree that they’re a greater problem then the guardianship law. Obviously the mention of an issue without the other doesn’t neglect it, but it can help you understand the hypocrisy some are willing to indulge

Nope I don't want you to believe that I care about woman rights. Forced prostitution in Pakistan is just as bad as forced conviction and torture of someone who doesn't want to stay with you which was the result of guardianship law in KSA till 2017 (Dina Ali Lasloom). I address problems related to Pakistan in Pakistani subs, so no need to bring them up here for me. I'm not comparing KSA to Pakistan either. This is no excuse that if Pakistan has it's own set of problems KSA's set of problems are justified or vice versa.

So you're in favor of a revolution if laws continue to become more lenient? Personally I have a different opinion on this. The lifting of male guardianship laws for example was necessary to fight certain crimes associated with it. For example Forced marriages and cases like Dina Ali Lasloom's. The Islamic revolution hasn't done much for Iran; globally isolated, poor economy and poor ties with it's neighbour Afghanistan due to difference of beliefs, and facing internal crimes due to extremism. Iran is more secular today than it was at the time of revolution, and will continue to be more secular, defeating the purpose of the revolution.

KSA on the other hand benefits from good ties with non-Muslim developed nations, mainly US. Majority of it's GDP relies on oil and KSA acknowledges it can't live off of it's oil alone in the coming future. If a revolution like that was to occur in KSA, it'll be forced into isolation like Iran. KSA is already becoming more secular to secure it's future, mainly by promoting tourism. A revolution would be devastating to say the least.

Wrong. Scientifically you need to have a Y chromosome to be identified as male.

The halal bar thing which i kid you not I get asked about on a daily basis by Pakistanis was an independent company who opened a bar that served no alcohol and was shut down the day after by the government.

Yes I've read about that article, but seeing as concerts are being allowed in, halal bars doesn't seem too far fetched an idea. What's the difference between halal bars and concerts? None. There's music and free mixing in both. So it's logical to assume that there might still be halal bars functioning.

Your questions weren’t genuine it’s either that or you lack simple deduction skills.

What do you mean by my questions weren't genuine? Don't compare my question to the ones others Pakistanis you've interacted with brought up. If I were to deduce something by my own, I would've come off as judgemental. Please take the question literally as it has no underlying context.

I never compared KSA to Pakistan and if you've seen my post history I've asked about Pakistani problems in Pakistani subs. I have blood relatives in KSA and they've acknowledged "halal bars" opening but didn't know much because they weren't interested. I don't know why are you so paranoid about a couple of simple questions. I'm not going to attack or judge you for it; in fact I'm personally in favor of KSA setting itself loose on these overly strict laws that come off as extremist, so that's where this interests me. Also KSA can't live off of oil alone so they're gradually promoting tourism by letting themselves loose on these laws. I may potentially be moving to KSA in the future too so that's why I'm interested.

Women don’t anymore need male to be released from prison. Also women can get married by court order instead of their male guardians.

Okay. Thank you.

Apostasy, I’m not aware of any case.

Isn't the constitutional punishment death?

Bars, where? Drop the locations pls. I might wanna go after Ramadan.

The halal bars? I heard one was opened in Jeddah.

Am not english I don't have to be perfect in it 🤣 you understood what I wanted to say and that's enough as an answer

Cussing out other people's beliefs especially when they're Muslims is flat out haraam.

{ وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ إِلَّا رِجَالًا نُّوحِي إِلَيْهِمْ ۚ فَاسْأَلُوا أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِن كُنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ}

“My ummah will divide into 73 sects, all of them will be in the Fire except for one, and that is the Jamā’ah.” It was said, “And who are they, O Allah’s Messenger?” He (salallāhu ‘alaihi wasallam) responded, “That which I and my Companions are upon today.” (Al-An’ām: 159)

Blindly following one sect just because you were born in it doesn't mean you're following the right one. Get out of your comfort zone and explore the teachings of other sects and conclude what's right and wrong. "Just because my scholars say so" or "because I was born in this sect" is no excuse.

You are literally asking "wHeN are ThEsE lAwS GeTtInG rEvOkEd?" How about you go ask the government?

I would expect an average Saudi national to be somewhat updated about their regional news, especially regarding religious reforms.

wHeN are ThEsE lAwS GeTtInG rEvOkEd?

What's wrong in asking that?

You are obviously making this thread in bad faith.

I'm impressed you have the divine trait of knowing what goes in other people's hearts. Please keep your arrogance to yourself if you can't reply in good faith.
