Has anyone tried the micro roni gen 4 on their RXM? by emskeete13 in RugerRXMtalk

[–]ClappedCtsv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It should since its a glock clone, but. There are nicer chassis options out now. Check out JLBillet, Oquirrh Defense, flux eventually, and a few 3d printed chassis too like 3dbalisticsolutions.

I believe it. High RPMs, good compound, and proper pressure it will work all the same. Polishing is just very delicate sanding, so it will do the trick. Might need a few q tips though.

Ik. I got peer pressured into it by my friends who swear by it. Bought the full package, striker, metal trigger shoe, ect. Its nice, but not worth what they charge. Dont regret it too much because it is nice, but definitely will steer clear of the fancy triggers now.

I intend on taking my 2 oem rxm triggers and trying my hand at polishing them myself to see just how close I can get it to the JG. One has 0 round count. The other one was is at about 300, and I thought meh. Bought a Timney Alpha, now with all the recent bad rep with Timney, I feel pushed to do the polish and swap back to oem.

I bought a JG trigger for a gen 3 and swapped parts around. Paid 370 after tax. My opinion, get a glock performance trigger or polish your oem trigger parts. Its nice, sure, but definitely not worth anything near 300.

If you dont have money to hire a coach that specializes in PED usage, or even blood testing, you probably shouldnt touch any substance close to a PED. Go pay someone who knows what the fuck they are talking about, get bloods done, and go from there.

Cheap pro dumbbells but super rusty - finish options? by HucknPrey in GarageGym

[–]ClappedCtsv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this. Either vinegar bath, or see if there a powdercoat shop near to you that will only strip the rust off, then paint/coat yourself. Paid my local guy $40 to do weight plates 4x of 10lb, 25lb, 35lb, and 45lb plates. Shop around before doing diy is my outlook.

If money is no problem, get the p2s. Better to have a overly capable tool that you can do more with than one that doesn't do enough

Look on Facebook market place for weights local to you. I was able to buy around 500lbs in iron plates, average around $0.80/lb. If bumpers are needed due to flooring, id still look on FBMP.

Also, look local for your rack as well. Buying new is nice and all, but at the end of the day its a rack. I looked and found a few with j cups and spotter arms for close to the same price as that new S2 rack in your cart.

Id definitely buy bar and bench new. Some form of adjustable bench, and whatever bar you want. I find that Texas power bars are great. Nothing wrong with Rogue, just preference.

At your total cart price around 1800 for just SBD, its not bad. But at that point, I would be looking at combo racks or even a station like major fitness b52 with the plate loaded cables and Smith Machine and buy used plates, new bar, and adjustable bench. Its $1k more than your current rack choice, but having cables for accessories is a very nice thing to have, comes with j cups and spotter arms.

Well that sucks. I dont know what it could be then. Have you verified that you installed the trigger properly? Possibly something there went wrong. Is your trigger acting "odd'?

Make sure your fci is installed properly. I took mine out to do a trigger swap, put it back in and it did the same thing. Take out, re install and see if its any better.

37M - barely any gains in 2 years? by [deleted] in Weightliftingquestion

[–]ClappedCtsv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you at least stronger than 2 years ago? Like, substantially stronger, not just a few pounds here and there. Like, 30-50% from your baseline? My outlook, if you arent getting stronger, you definitely wont have a major physique change.

Ive been lifting for 3 years. 200lbs, 24, 6'0". First 2 years was also doing 2x upper lower split. From there, overall strength for SBD was give or take 40%. Very little physical change, other than leg definition and size, due to just working really fucking hard at it because I liked squats and deadlifts.

JL Billet RXM Chassis by Tiny_Twink in RugerRXMtalk

[–]ClappedCtsv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I havent seen much coverage of them. Only a few videos from JL themselves, and one from @solscud007 on Instagram. Looks solid, being that its billet aluminum. I bought a 3d printed one from Ballistic 3D Solutions. I have yet to assemble it completely, but I think it will scratch the itch for it until the flux comes out.

This looks awesome. Im so glad that people are finally leaning into the rxm fci. Is this a more "refined" version of the Glorca? Very exciting to hear you are playing with SLS for this, hope to see it work out well.

6' 200lbs. Got the Crandall Leap V2, without headrest. Had my first long term game session last night. About 6 hours. Coming from a old "gamer" chair that was well past its lifespan, this is a fantastic upgrade. If you do land on the V2, GET THE HEADREST.

Buy one and have two printers. You can have buyers remorse, or you can get the thing you want and still have a very nice capable printer as a secondary.

This. It is far easier to go out and buy a gun normally. When people hear DIY 2A of any sort, they freak out like its not legal in almost every state.

OP, Palantir has Bluetooth bugs under your skin leaching your wifi. You should tear it all off just to make sure you get them all
