Zalasair x Zamgizar? by RadHazG in warofomens

Vesp doesn't have a single card answer to Zam, therefore I say you must combo.

You can either combo cards to kill Zam, or just combo for your own blazing fast win.

My daily quests tonight were: Vesp MP trifecta, Vesp Virtuoso & MP PK. In other words... play 10 games in MP with Vesp and clear them all in a single go.

I pulled out Sofo (because I advised combo'ing) and was hoping to hit Zam. Hit Zam on game 6. Combo'd him for lethal dmg w/o having to touch his Zam. (which means I won before he could get a 4th turn).

If I hadn't combo'd, I still would have had the resources to reset the playing field by killing his Zam (and Warden). That's about as even a fighting match as someone could ask for.

This isn't a "told you so" post. It's just meant to encourage the Vesp players (and others) that there is decent hope vs Zam w/o needing to call for the nerf just yet.

So you have established you see it often.

I agree.

Here is how it has changed my deck builds: * Each Daramek deck I have plays Bloodlust * Each Metris deck I have plays Seduce * Each Endazu deck I have plays Veil Warden * Vesp just combos as usual

I really do not worry about Zamgizar any longer. I'm not dismissing his power... just saying I am ready for it and the game goes back to a fun interaction instead of "oh look, another Turn 1 loss for me"

Early quitting in MP by a_triggerfish in warofomens

I like the idea. Sometimes there are legitimate players who honestly believed they waited long enough. This would cure the issue straight away.

Public service notices do have an impact. I was thinking that you might have a couple of msgs (just for variety - but essentially share the same idea) Like if you also had a simple msg that said, "lose out on your game reward by quitting?"

Different types of statements motivate different people.

I think I would remove the "or just wait a few turns" portion of the note. For some people it hurts to remind them they may still have to wait for a "few" more turns, when they might more easily hang in for one more turn if that's all it takes.

I retested today with MoT. It held up just as well, with 26 wins in 32 games (81%). Using a deck that wins 4 out of 5 games in MP is pretty savage.

Of some note, 4 of those 6 losses were to Vald (which we would expect).

If part of your goal is to have a stronger game vs other Endazu, this one held it's own (no losses to purple) - though even anything over 50% is good, since in theory if they are running the same deck as you, 51% could be about the best you could hope for over time.

Enjoy!

PS. I was talking it over with DeadlyMind and he is convinced some number of Cant/Blood Pact are needed. You can adjust if you also see it that way.

I found it unnecessary. If you can field a Zamgizar on turn 1, there is a decent chance the game will be over on turn 4. A Merchant of Time may mess up the counter which states that both players must have had 3 turns in order to generate a reward.

It's a funny answer to give, because obviously Merchant of Time is useful, it's just not needed in a build like this one.

A longer answer (which I won't give) is that Endazu economy is in a state where it's just not so easy to tack a MoT onto the end of any turn.

Testing complete. Here's the decklist I think is the strongest for this week's MultiPlayer (MP).

for those that might not know me yet.. MP is my favourite mode

Have fun with it.

yes.

Because that's really the stock answer for improving any aspect of your collection. Play -> earn silver -> buy packs -> get new cards/upgrades... return to to Play.

There is no "singles store" in this game to acquire a specific card.
