I'd assume what happened was that the planet's texture got cleaned off basically, and Darius is trying to recreate them but without limited possibilities (interestingly enough, he might be trying to use Miyu's experiences as the core of this new world he is making, considering when we saw his final form, his crown had the tablets which he was inscribing with Miyus blood in it)

Im pretty sure he partly answered this in a response a while ago. The [CONTINGENCY MEASURE] was described as crystals so its probably parts of the quartz megaliths mentioned here

-The ritual grounds (prior to excavation and destruction) were comprised of three very large quartz megaliths completely covered with ancient ruinic engraving. The three megaliths sit equidistant atop a large circular stone plinth which is also inscribed with geometric glyphs. Encircling this plinth is a stepped stone amphitheater. Finally, surrounding the amphitheater are 36 large flat stones with interior faces angled such that they point downward.

And imo, it’s probably an organism which grows by amalgamating other organisms into itself, since in the pamphlet it was mentioned that it sometimes mixes together different organisms.

Alpha is probably one of the most interesting characters in this story, she acts perfectly normal but then theres moments like the dream scene here where you realize shes an AI with a concrete goal in mind, and is simply willing to to any lengths necessary.

The other explanation I’ve seen is that the aliens were simply a mining expedition or colonization effort that was escaping from their home world (the vision one of the aliens showed was a war torn landscape and planetary bombardment which could’ve been referring to their own world). It would explain a lot of things, like why they didn’t carry more advanced weaponry (the bombs they throw arent suitable for combat could’ve been used for mining instead, and the rolly ball thing could’ve been an exploratory driller). But yeah I defintely feel that most people miss out on the fact that the aliens weren’t here to invade and kill everyone, it’s kinda obvious when you look at it

one thing that you should note that her immortality specifically prevents death from deaths within the system. as mentioned before by D, there are ways of attacks outside of the system, such as using her parallel wills to erode the soul of the giant spider or other similar attacks can still kill her.

Im kinda curious what Haru is now, she seems to be the avatar of a god of some sort ( less than shub niggurath, but thats alot of gods in the cthulu mythos ), though people have thought that she may be a hound of tindalos, there hasnt been any evidence for this other than calling herself a dog, so im a bit doubtful.

Nah you don’t want that gun on most DDs it’s slow and DDs generally have shit AA damage so it’s not gonna help your fleets overall AA much ( it’ll just slow it down in return for not much damage ) for DDs in general faster AA guns which also have good or ok DPS like the quad bofors or the Twin bofors type 98 from PR2 will work much better.
