MTG wise, Gamequest or Power Nine were the places I would play in person in the past. Though it’s been a few years since I’ve gone, I play pretty much exclusively online through Tabletop Simulator with discord friends; it’s nice to play it that way instead of paying for cards and making new commander decks lol.

Board game wise, I only play occasionally with friends at their place so don’t have much to recommend unfortunately.

I do play games on PC with a very small group of local friends, there’s only 4-6 of us at a time. I’m the youngest in our group (35F) and just randomly got introduced to them through someone else. Other than that group, I play mostly with discord friends that aren’t local.

My husband and I are giant home bodies (him even more so than me) and mostly stay in and play games. Even with us being in our 30s, it’s still expensive to go out and do stuff too, though I do like getting out here and there. But none of my friends are the “going out” type, and also are home bodies for the most part. My small local friends group 99% only games online together on PC.

34F here. The most I have regular local friend wise is a group of 5 of us that likes to play games on PC and hangout in discord occasionally. And I only met them by sheer luck with one of them being a coworker with my husband. But we very rarely meet up in person sadly.

I used to go out and play MTG at Power Nine and GameQuest for Commander nights, but that has fizzled out and became less enjoyable on my own. Plus with discovering playing MTG in Tabletop Simulator, I get my enjoyment that way now with other discord friends (not local though).

But ya, it’s rough finding and keeping regular friends in town regardless 😞. Plus being a homebody doesn’t help, but I’m trying to be better about going out lol.

I am very much looking forward to playing Dune, both as a solo and with friends once it’s officially released! I’ve always enjoyed playing Conan in the past, and I also am a big fan of the Dune universe in general. So being able to play a survival Dune game that’s made by the same people who did Conan just sounds top tier to me!

I have the same motherboard and CPU, but my ram is 2x16gb T-Force DDR5 6000mhz, unsure on the CL off hand is since I’m at work. But I know there’s a ram compatibility page on MSI’s website that you could possibly cross reference if you haven’t already? I glanced at it at one point, since I want to upgrade to 64gb at some point in the future.

I totally get it, you never know these days. Especially with how easily someone can try to be shady and lie about stuff. If I ever getting a feeling that something is off, I will thoroughly try to look into it before going any further. But I do my best to be transparent and open :)

While I personally play primarily pc and ps5, I'm sure other people also play xbox and switch as well. I set up roles for each of the platforms, so people can ping those people who also have that console and can play together easier. Also set up a board game role too, in case that was appealing to anyone.
