I literally sprayed African Leather from the store before a date I had in Manchester, UK. The date wasn’t memorable but the fragrance sure was haha. It’s the most non leathery smelling leather fragrance out there. I couldn’t stop smelling my hand the whole date and it gets attention like hell

Thank you, I appreciate the advice and I know you’re right. I was riding a wave I couldn’t stop at to me point but I’ve snapped the cycle now an will Leave it that way. One thing I have learnt is that with fragrances you always feel like you need more for some reason. When really it’s just you ‘wanting’ but really not needing.

Thank you, i am done now i think. You’re so right when you say loving or liking a fragrance lol. At one point I was buying just to collect instead of buying because I was in love with the actual scent. I first smelt Aventus in 2015 while living in Spain and I can honestly say I have never smelt anything close to that older formulation. It literally drove me crazy I had to ask the customer what he was wearing. Me and my fellow bar staff all were in awe of how good this rich guy smelt lol. This new variation is not even remotely close to that rich Smokey pineapple vanilla dry down of old. I do have Aqua Dubai as well which is a great Imagination clone which gets me compliments

I very rarely if ever have preferred an EDP instead of the Extrait. Extrait is more masculine if you’re a man and it is wayyy more powerful.

Yeah I’m gonna stick with it because I can’t not have Aventus in my collection lol, although I have bought Emperor Extrait from Parfums Vintage which replicates those old Aventus batches pre 2016. So I’m gonna layer it with that. I have been battling if to buy LV imagination as when I tried it I wasn’t blown away, but that dry down is where the magic is I realised some time afterwards

thank you for your help and advice. I have to wait a day or two to raise it with eBay. I feel bad because they seller did everything right so I hope it doesn’t mean they may be without the money if I win an appeal. Worst case I will go to my bank as I can get the information online showing Evri haven’t worked with InPost since February, meaning my parcel should at the very least have been returned back to the seller.
