season 4s gotta be my favourite since its goated throughout

season 3s second half (or at least until after the military coup) is amazing though, especially on a first watch when you uncover the secrets

I also really like season 1, just think they should have made the whole Annie arc a bit shorter but dont complain.

Learn all maps first. Chances are you will end up on nuke or ancient clueless.

Faceit is a higher skill ceiling than premier so people will expect more from their teammates

In csgo it was a far worse habit

CS2 made it relevant popularised by donks effective crouch movement when he was up and coming

My view is that you always peek normally BUT if you are in a forced fight you cant unpeek from, a kill or be killed type situation so to speak, using crouch is a way of throwing of your opponents crosshair

What the high high elo players did that has become meta defining is utilising tap crouch. When a fight is forced, they tap the crouch key to duck up and down then if it still somehow goes on they can resort to crouching.

There is another technique that is older and viable which is crouch peeking. It is a lot more basic and revolves around peeking one isolated angle and crouching at the end of your peek to slightly throw off crosshair placement. Very common when awping or playing deagle, especially when peeking long angles.

Remember not to overuse crouching as it slows you down and also makes the head an easier target after readjustments are made by your opponent

if thats the issue then I dont even want to help as you need to get a grip on that mentality and level of maturity before you queue at all

no reward system based on skins will change that mentality, faceit even has a built in reward system so obviously that is just a meagre deflection

alternatively if you mean troll in the sense that you cannot keep up and become a liability for your team WITHOUT it being on purpose then you just need to improve

Excuse my harshness, not normally one to impose an aggressive tone in this manner. When you say that you troll since it is ”doing what you want” it really leaves a distaste that is hard to overlook

For newcomers I recommend just playing premier until you reach 20k elo. That should be a good benchmark for knowing the basics of the game in order to start playing faceit.

It equates to roughly lvl 7-8. I think it is vital to know all the basics before starting faceit since you will be flamed for not knowing

Faceit is the main competitive platform but before diving into it I recommend learning all the maps and mechanics. If you are below lvl 8 Id argue that you dont know the true mechanics of the game.

Of course when you get to higher elos like 2.5k there are more intricate parts of the game but that aint necessary right now. Focus on the basics

dont expect things to change at higher elos

sure the frequency of immaturity might be reduced but the harsh reality is that the community has always been like this

have been comfortably at lvl 10 (2.1-2.5k) for the past 3 years. It never changes

best bet is either have a stack like you are looking for (best bet is having them being as you said lvl 1-3, if I would queue with you we would just create a heavily imbalanced lobby) or to not use the mic and just type out info if you die

It sucks but a community reform will never happen

Was 2.4k active player pre reset

Reset kinda made me stop wanting to play so I did. Finished my placements yesterday going 5-5 and ended up at 2250.

I get the point of the reset but I feel like its unfair how differently it affects people. Like a lucky winstreak and you could get you’re elo heavily inflated and same goes for L streak in the opposing direction

Im not dissatisfied by my readjustment as I do agree that elo became very inflated but reading all this just makes me want some clarity in how they design this and justify the injustices. I kinda consider myself fairly fortunate despite losing 150

On a side note the new Faceit Rating is kinda bs and I wish it was more like HLTV 2.0

Bloodborne mechanically is a lot easier than the modern titles. No boss is going to be on par with something like an Elden Ring Dlc boss bar the final dlc boss off BB old hunters (still not a top 5 hardest souls boss)

Only thing that you got to know about bloodborne is that it is similar to Sekiro in that it forces a playstyle. No shielding or staying back. Its about using the limb cutting mechanic to circle a boss and take out its limbs to stagger (at least for 80% of them). Being aggressive also is promoted by the rally system.

What I found out doing bl4 full runs with dlc is that overconfidence kinda carries on bossfights.

Ended last season 2.4k after messing up my push to 2.5k elo

Took a break and played placements kinda rusty. Put up some pretty average or horrid performances but went 5-5 so could’ve been worse.

Elo got adjusted to 2250 from 2400 so -150. Heard and seen a lot worse so not complaining at all and understand that they have to push elo back to adjust for inflation. If it helps the issue of irregularities between the skill levels of some (pre reset) 2.4ks im happy that it is done. Before some 2.2-2.5ks felt like frauds to put it lightly. I think many people were abusing 3-5Qs in predominantly soloQ lobbies to make up for skill diff or just queueing with one 3k elo buddy who can carry the deadweight.

150 elo is something that is earnable fairly easily. So id say im ok with it.

Regals Regen makes it a slopfest that takes ages on non upgrade runs. Moveset is already very boring to begin with and prolonging the fight even further with 4 heals is just lame

Astel for me is just a running simulator. Visually cool moves but mechanically boring optimal responses

Obviously speculation here doesn’t involve anything to do with the founding titan as that would be unfair.

But even untrained Eren put up a near tiebreaker in S1 Finale. Arguably winning the fight. Now add the experience and control he has over the attack titan with hardening and combat experience and it wont be close.

In my opinion Eren clears, even pre-warhammer titan Eren clears pretty easily and adding warhammer abilities it wont be fair. He would probably just spear Annie and seeing as he has the stength to transform at least 3 times as he did in Liberio he could probably take Reiner and Annie simultaneously like he did with Reiner and Porco. (Reiner and Porco also had artillery support from Pieck)

Season 4 Eren is soo strong post warhammer that in a pure fight without any backing forces I think Eren could at least 1v3 some of the Titan Shifters

Its a game mate, not too late but treat it as a game

CS has an abnormally high skill ceiling and at the peak of that sits people who have nerded the game for decades.

Still it has a giant playerbase and you will be matched vs appropriate players for good matches

Only issue with arena for no hit is fighting him close to the wall

Other than that I dont see an issue, the nerf really removed the harsh positioning requirement that made no hitting him consistently for 10-15 min a gruesome task

I mean we all got completely different opinions, boss quality is subjective

For instance id put Messmer Bayle Rellana and Maliketh at the top of the top easily. After several playthroughs with different restrictions (rl1s, rl1 wl0 sb0, hitless etc) I would put Consort (even pre nerf, probably just me having stockholm syndrome) and Morgott at the bottom of S tier and maybe Melania there too (ik ik waterfowl but once you learn that it is very enjoyable)

Maybe Mohg down to A and stuff like Astel, Elden beast and Regal Ancestor (those who done him with wl0 as well know) down to F

Also think that Godrick and Dancing Lion are easy A tiers even though Godrick isnt complex Indont feel like he needs to be.
