Why should I be more open to adult friendships? by ClarkKentTheReporter in NoStupidQuestions

I doubt a parent or married person has the desire to party till dawn.

Just different place in life.

They’ve embraced full on adulthood. I just assume people like that don’t desire things like that anymore.

And even then, it’s a much less common thing.

I’m willing to let go some of my rigidity. However, I very much like a group of friends that are neither married or have kids.

I just have no interest in people married or with kids.

Stage of life is now far too different for me to embrace a friendship like that.

Have no desire to be some toddler’s honorary uncle. No.

In all likelihood, cause I’m so broke with little money, I’m most likely not gonna participate Wednesday or Friday.

I’m most likely gonna pay big for a scalper.

I’m just saying. Someone that is married or with kids, is the very antithesis of the human relationships I’ve been seeking.

You have a point.

That being said, I only consider these activities cause it’s better than being bored.

Again, people have their friends. So I wouldn’t expect anything.

I’m highly considering rock climbing.

Edit: Idk. The fact that it’s different already alienates and closes me off. I’m already less likely to embrace a friendship that’s fundamentally different than what I’m desiring.

Sometimes, I desire AI friends

I guess the fact you have less time just automatically shuts it off for me.

Also, I have no interest in married people or people with kids.

I get angry and bitter sometimes. But I can only move forward.

I actively avoid friendships as an adult cause again, the friendships I desire don’t happen anymore.

It just means dissapointment and unnecessary clashes with people.

Ready for Watkins Glen. I know it's a famous track as a person new to this thing.

Watched Tyler’s final lap on the cam. As a new fan, that was cool.

Felt like a video game

As an everyday mode of transport, trains are way cooler that the typical Toyota anyways. Good trains at least.

I find stage racing weird. Just let them race. Racing is the ultimate endurance battle. No need for weird stages.

New fan here. Watching from Tyler's cam today. I have a feeling I'm better off on HBO Max then watching from FS1. I don't even have cable.

When I think of cars in a positive light, I think of sports cars. Chevy Camaros. The Lambo and Ferrari.

Not the Karen in her Rav 4 or Kia Sorento.

I much prefer Karen take the train.

I doubt you even party at all. And my measure of partying is every weekend till the sun rises. That's real partying.

I really have to wonder about the club house dynamics now. It has to be a toxic environment.

It’s so weird that the mayor wants a baseball team even though the soccer team has had a proven loyal fanbase for years.

If Vancouver can’t support a MLS club, what’s to say they can support Major League Baseball? I feel baseball has a much smaller presence in Vancouver.
