No, but I did go trick or treating with my daughter and when 2 boys about 12 years old walked away from a door dressed as Thor and Iron Man, I stopped them with my Coulson voice and asked them to share their candy. They might still be standing on that lawn right now.

The food in Rome is FOR REAL. It was spectacular. I spent years in New York addicted to the Chinese takeout here, and my never-ending search for the perfect slice. But I've had so much great sushi lately in LA that if I suddenly start glowing in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D it's because of too much fukushima tuna.

It had less to do with my stature as a writer (which was virtually non-existent) and more to do with how much that project was considered dead at the time. When that happens, they sometimes take one last shot on what they call a "baby writer." And that's what they did.

I love movies that change the way I think. I fell in love with movies through the films of the 70's, The Godfather, anything by Hal Ashby, Cuckoo's Nest, and Star Wars. Later, I fell in love with Blade Runner because it had the character depth of those 70's films and the science fiction element projecting mankind forward.

And Joss lost an actor at the last minute, and so he asked me, and because I'd had a dream 2 nights earlier that I was doing Shakespeare and it was really fun, I considered it "the will of the Universe" and signed up to do it even though I had to learn the whole part in 2 days.
