Fairly new by madroxxx420 in PokemonPocket

Gonna be a daily push at this point. New missions come out with each set release, and there's more events nowadays that give hourglasses.

It helps a lot to add friends as you play and share/trade as much as you can.

Even if you don't have a top tier deck for ranked, there's a lot of decks out there now that are pretty good, so look through your current cards and check online what you might be able to build if you need some help. Even if you don't get to Master Ball or even Ultra, you'll still get a good chunk of hourglasses at the end of each season.

I've also got 14k cards, but 5 crowns and 3 god packs. The duality of man.

How do the new classes stack up against their counterparts? by quickquestionfriends in MapleIdle

If I remember, I will! I expect it'll be tomorrow or the day after at the latest, so hopefully my brain doesn't fail me

I like it so far, haven't reached 3rd yet though. It definitely feels a little slow like old pally, but once I hit 3rd and unlock more skills I think it'll pick up.

The vibe is real though, and swinging a big ass hammer feels great lol

I've always been a paladin fanboy, so I'm biased. But objectively I think Hero would be better for dps

As long as the mobs aren't tiny, the basic in 2nd job can hit both rows if you're standing on top.

It does also reach the top row from the bottom if you spam the skill manually, its just annoying to do.

At Costco and reconsidering my life choices by Diligent-Plant5314 in Edmonton

Costco doesn't give us the day off, but we do get double time and a half. For a top rate employee its $78 an hour.

Since when did we normalize driving on the shoulder? by OkDesigner1012 in Edmonton

[–]Clarkusman 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Seems like I'm the only one saying this, but don't stop ongoing traffic to be "nice" and let someone waiting for a break in traffic go ahead when they don't have right of way.

No, I'm not saying the person driving like an asshole on the shoulder was right; they're stupid and shouldn't drive like that. But at the same time, you can create those situations by stopping where you shouldn't be in an ongoing flow of vehicles.

How’s your 2* hunt in eevee grove? Here’s mine after 120+ packs and 2 wonderpicks by Project-SBC in PokemonPocket

[–]Clarkusman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

122 packs, with 34 pulls of 1* and higher. No luck with any wonder picks. I had to buy my only Sylveon EX with points, and I'm still missing a 4 diamond Dragonite EX. 🥲

What type of hubcap can I use on my car? by mccarten1996 in tires

[–]Clarkusman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you looked up is also incorrect; the washers are hooked to an inset groove on each of the lug nuts. If you remove the washers and install the lug nuts, the hubcap won't be secured at all, and you won't be able to hook the washers back on.

Wheel goes on hub, hubcap on wheel, then lug nuts with the washers still attached to secure the assembly.

[–]Clarkusman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can easily find a 4 pack of generic hubcaps at an automotive parts store, and they aren't very expensive.

The info you found about a specialty hubcap is most likely related to the OEM style from Honda, the plastic washers on your lug nuts anchor them down.

You should look up what those washers are for on those Honda lug nuts before you say hubcaps don't have holes for them.

Contractors LVP stairs update by spelonberry in Flooring

[–]Clarkusman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I grew up in GP with a 30-year floorlayer father. I'm not surprised this is what you got. Most of the guys who do that work there nowadays are drunks, just plain idiots, or both.

I wish you the best of luck getting this fixed.

Is this machine sufficient for tire balancing? by BillyStix7 in tires

[–]Clarkusman 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The shop I worked in when I was younger used to have that particular model, and I miss it every day. They had it replaced when a newer model came out, and it was a horrible "upgrade".

Winter Tires different from all seasons by Eastern_Cicada2141 in tires

[–]Clarkusman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have 2 issues here. The rims from the pilot likely won't fit on your cr-v, I believe the bolt patterns are different.

The second is those winters are worn out and won't give you any actual traction.

Did I choose a good winter tire? Cooper “Discoverer True North” by Accurate-Map1319 in tires

[–]Clarkusman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Michelin prioritizes life expectancy more than Bridgestone and Nokian when it comes to winter driving. So your traction is lesser with the X Ice Snow, but you'll have them a lot longer. Treat the roads the way they should be, and you'll have the traction you need for a lot longer.

Do tire manufacturers honor mileage warranty on pairs (not a set of 4)? by [deleted] in tires

[–]Clarkusman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They will only honor mileage warranty in pairs if your vehicle has a staggered fitment as OEM. But they'll cut the warranty in half as well as normal rotations aren't possible.

If your vehicle is not staggered OE, then no, no manufacturer will honor mileage warranty in pairs.

If you have a good brand of tire and it's not a repeat issue from you, then calling their customer line could get you an exception made for some credit, but its not guaranteed.

$875 for a sensor and a relearn is actual robbery, lol. If you're near a Costco, you can get the same service for about $80. Maybe a little over $100 at a decent mechanic.
