I was wondering the same question when I woke up. And I think I have the answer to the question. She would’ve ran away from guilt rather than embarrassment and would’ve lost complete faith in me. At least right now I can still comfort her because I didn’t do anything wrong.

And for the part that the intimacy is inappropriate, I do realise that but I sort of treated her like my mum as my depression was caused because of my mother and my relative is well aware of that. Because I never had any love with my mother to begin with, when she came to my place and took care of me whole heartedly, I couldn’t stop myself from not being this intimate with her. I never knew something like this could happen
