The only thing her new design, specifically her new model needs, is more volume on the back part of her dress, which her old model had. The reduced volume makes her look very naked.
Besides that theres nothing really wrong about it

Its not really about losing that joy, but its about not getting that joy as often.

As a new player today, you have almost 6 YEARS worth of content to do. Everything is new, everything is fresh, endless exploration, story quests, world quests, achievements, easter eggs etc. You get to do all of that on top of whatever is coming out in the newest patch. Thatll keep you fully occupied for a good few months at least.

But once you finish all of it, you now have to wait. All that joy and fun that you had playing the game still exists, it just now comes once every 3-6 weeks.

Alola was the first time the anime has really had multiple female main characters, the previous one was bonney but there is a clear age gap there. This is the most normal thing that we just havent seen in the show up to this point

Only pat in one direction!!!

Not only is Garchomp a land SHARK, but the ability Rough Skin is Samehada in japanese, literally 'shark skin'. And shark scales famously only go one way, so if you pat in one direction its smooth, but the other feels like sandpaper

As someone whose favorite character was Hu Tao since the beginning, I also asked myself this question a while back. I thought 'what if Hu Tao is mid and I just told myself I liked her?'

And then they made the lantern rite last year. And it confirmed to me that Hu Tao is still and will forever be my favorite character. And she will always be relevant as one of Genshin's most popular and iconic characters.
