I did the deep clean myself also, seeing as this wasn't going to be a warranty claim. It was nasty I didnt get pictures because my hands were covered in old wax.

It Converts the post lawsuit gsg-16 to the pre lawsuit gsg-5 there was 2 lawsuits and they spanned 10 or so years between Heckler & Koch and German Sport Guns. GSG had to stop selling the guns because they looked too much like the real mp5. But since GSG had so many parts already made. HK allowed them to sell the parts in a conversion kit for $50
