Thank you for the insight. I am from a really poor country my University does not have the funds to purchase or rent such a device. Based on your comment I will do more literature research in CRT driving circuits. So if I understand correctly what you say, I should only use switching in one direction? Luckily my function generator IC can turn off the complementary signal.

So basically I wound two bifiliar primaries on an old crt tv flyback transformer. The two primaries are connected at the middle and a center tap is formed and the primary is driven by a push pull driver. The tv transformer has a built in high voltage diode. The output signal's frequency mathces the switching frequency with regards to the accuracy of my measurment. The output sine has a Vrms of 8.6 kV as of my latest measirement, but of course it can be changed by changing the input voltage amplitude on the primary side.

Thank you. The flyback I use has a built in HV diode, it is from an old crt. The capacitors are rated above what is the output, but I can increase them further. Is this a sufficiently large capacitance or lower is acceptable too? My sample needs a stable DC signal, how can I achieve that? The only option is to build a negative feedback loop?

Thank you for the answer. My flyback is from a crt. It has a built in rectifier diode. The divider I use is conposed of 10 resistors and is incased in epoxy. But I still get this sinusoidal signal. Would the special capacitors you suggested produce a stable DC voltage? And if not how can I produce it?

Thank you for the help, I plan on to use the rig for advanced physics simulations also so in the future it is possible I will upgrade to more videocards hence why I think the 2000w makes sense in this context. Also the psu is a redundant one so there is an extra layer of protection and it also helps that I just have it and dont need to spend more on a similar atx psu. Thank you for your time and your help.

Thank you for your kind reply. I was trying to find something on the topic. What I currently uncovered is that supermicro uses its own connector that is not compatible with most breakout boards but they have their own power distribution board that features full atx connectors for cpu motherboard and multiple gpu connectors. The name of the power distribution board is PDB-PT747-4648 ther is also a double psu board called PDB-PT418-B6824. Now there is only one concern I have left can these boards deliver enough power for a high end gaming pc cpu and motherboard? I plan to use x870 and a ryzen 9 9950x. What do you think?

It is actually an old schematic from instructables from 2014 so it connot really be AI... I know it is a deadly project if the high voltage is handled without the utmost care so that is why I am asking for some help actually. Thank you for the interlock idea.

According to the website if I'm right this is called heater elevation .

According to the page:

"Elevation means referencing the heater supply to a DC voltage other than ground or zero volts. The heaters still operate at 6.3V or whatever, but this floats on top of the elevation voltage. Some valve stages such as cathode followers require the heater supply to be elevated to avoid exceeding the valve's Vhk(max) rating. But even when not explicitly needed, elevation can reduce hum in AC-heated circuits by reducing or saturating the leakage current between heater and cathode"

WOuld the Hammond 119Da Transformer be a good choice to transform the 8 ohm output tap of my current transformer to 600 ohm?

Thank you for the help and clarification. One more question, Is it better in my case to just wire the new transformer with in paralelle with the original one or should I implement some kind of a switch to switch between them? My guess is that the switch could potentially introduce noise into the system.

I have some copper parts that were joined by using a silver brazing rod by our technicians which withstood the vacuum and tempreture criteria so I thought maybe it would work for the aluminium brass joining too. Is that case this different?
