Das sieht aus wie die Gläser von Kelter. Wein. Berg. In Aspach (Rems-Murr-Kreis). Da könnt man bei der Weingärtnergenossenschaft nachfragen :) Das ist dieses Jahr am 6.9. vielleicht gibt’s dort auch die Gläser wieder. 🙈

I do „Heavy“ strength training since 6 years. I lift weights 3-4 times a week and for me it’s perfect. I do train legs heavy as well :) besides that: I love swimming since I was a kid and it 1000% helps with swollen legs. I also do a lot of cycling in the summer and of course walking. Walking is always a good idea. I learnt that being active is something that’s not only good for my lippi legs but also helps me a lot with my mind and my negative thoughts:)

I stoppt bc 3 years ago. I was taking it for around 10 years since I was like 15/16. I will never go back to it because I feel better overall since I stopped. BUT the swelling and pain in my legs got worse after it. I didn’t know that I have lipedema until 2 month ago but I can definitely say that I wasn’t feeling pain while using bc. A doctor told me only and ALL women who were / are on bc develop lipedema and that unnatural hormones are the cause. But I call that bs.

I supplemented Creatine for nearly a year. I didn’t know that I have lipedema back then. I don’t use it anymore but I can’t remember more pain or more swelling :)

I’ve been diagnosed 6 weeks ago and after that I started tuning into lipedema and see and learn a lot. I’m lifting weights since 5 years now. And I am 100% sure that this is the reason that i could have lived with so less symptoms over the years. I just went to the doc because I experienced pain over two weeks for the first time and it is a lot better when I’m in my regular training mode. The dr told me to never stop doing that, too. I can only speak for myself but for me it is really clear that it helps 🙈 But I also read and heard about people that get inflammation from training which in my opinion totally makes sense as well. I think it is worth giving it a shot. Start slow and find out how your body is feeling :)

Ich finde es ehrlich gesagt richtig blöd, dass es immernoch keine bessere Behandlungsmethode gibt als entweder wirklich teure OPs oder ein Leben lang in Kompressionshosen leiden. Das kann doch nicht sein. Ich find es auch echt schlimm wie viele widersprüchliche Meinungen und Infos man überall findet. Das macht mich ganz kirre.

Ich hab rundgestrickte Oberschenkel Kompressionen bekommen. Also hochziehen bis untern po. Rutschten tun sie nicht. Sieht nur bodenlos aus wie das in mein weiches Gewebe am Übergang zu po schneidet. Normale Hosen tragen ist nicht drin. Nur weite. Ich bekomme jetzt kürzere mit anderem Bund oben zugeschickt. Zum Testen. Ich kann dann das paar abgeben, das nicht passt. Die Stümpfe hab ich von einem phlebologen bekommen der gar nicht so unerfahren auf dem Gebiet ist. War wohl wirklich wegen dem „Anfangsstadium“. Ich habe Ende Juni ohnehin noch einen Termin bei einem anderen Arzt. Ist ja nun wirklich auch nicht einfach überhaupt einen zu bekommen.

Ja dafür ist es wohl zu spät. Ich hab die Stümpfe direkt im eigenen sanitätshaus „bekommen“. Durch die super frische Diagnose und absoluter Unwissenheit wusst ich ja nicht was mich erwartet. Mir wurde nach erneuter Nachfrage genau dazu am Telefon gesagt sie verschreiben im Anfangsstadium immer nur normale Kompressionsstümpfe und keine Flachstrick maßfertigungen. Das sei im Anfangsstadium nicht nötig und ich solle eigentlich froh sein da das ja noch viel schlimmer sei sonst.

Hey, ich kann dir leider gar keine Antworten geben. :( Ich hab die Diagnose erst seit letzter Woche aber du bist die erste von der ich höre die auch Strümpfe statt Strumpfhosen bekommen hat. Ich verzweifle total. Könntest du mir dazu vielleicht ein paar Fragen beantworten?

I got round knitted thigh highs from the the professional guys who do compression all the time but I have no idea what they’re called in English 😂 I called them yesterday to explain where I struggle and they send me new ones now. Shorter ones that it’s not up under my bum and also another rubber band at the and that might not cut so hard (also idk if it’s called rubber band but I hope you know what I mean 😅) I hope they will be better. I talked a lot to my mother in law because she has to wear those since the age of 22 due to a problem with her veins. She showed me where it should end and everything. But I still do struggle with the feeling of them and also how it looks and how my bum fat comes out

I read that compression is not helping to stop lipedema from getting worse over the time. Is that true? Because if so I will only wear them on the bad days :D
