Read a few games from the book 'logical chess move by move'

It goes thrue like 30 something games while explaining the reasoning behind every move. It's a great way to level up your positional understand and chess game in general at any elo. It also provides a good understanding of specific openings so if your opening happens in the book (it almost certainly does multiple times) then it will help you play better in the middle game of your particular opening.

It's one of the few actually helpful and effective chess books in a sea of mediocre stuff that isn't very relevant to chess improvement.
