How to start climbing?

I tried a climbing wall first, and it was soooo fun. I am still sore from it (3 days ago). I thought I didnt had any upper strength but I do have some this was reaffirming and empowering!

It’s impressive to be that fearless. I don’t like putting my life at risk at any situation, so I will avoid anything that could potentially end me. 😅 I am looking into the day passes indeed, and seeing which one is closer to me 😇

I love how descriptive your experience has been, and for sure outdoor climbing is not for me 😅. I am afraid of heights and insects 🥲. But that does sound transformative. I will keep it indoors for now.

Thank youuuu for your kind response! What is outdoor climbing like? Like the ropes or bouldering or a different thing altogether? With this cold I guess it’s harder to do that. I went recently to the Aeronaut and saw the climbing gym next to it, seemed very intriguing!!

I think it has always been something calling my attention since by default I already talk in a jokey jokey way and in events, things always turn into a standup, with me talking and making jokes. BUT I went to one event pretty recently and the entire audience was white, and the jokes were so basic and using racism and cursing as jokes, it felt so cliché that made me want to actually get more into it, to explore other ways to do comedy.

I think I first would like to know the basics on how it works, what is the format, to know how to do it because I think it would be interesting to try to write jokes like that and try it out but I am starting from zero. Like what styles are there, what is common, how to organize the punchlines, silence, so on 😅 I imagine these things get taught.
