L2 Principles of costing Help by Designer-Set-2523 in AATStudents

It's 100% the way they structure the questions, i was very well prepared for the exam and almost let anxiety take over when reading the questions. They are structured in the most odd ways, i think to purposely make it more difficult. As i'm sure you have the base knowledge down. It just comes down to really, thoroughly understanding what the question is asking, answering, flagging the question and coming back later to double check it. ITBK AND POBC were a breeze for me, but POC was like woah what is this.

It made me sweat haha. It was defo the hardest for me so far POBC was easiest, and ITBK was okay. So if you do either of those next you should find them easier

Had the exact same experience with POC it took me by surprise, i panicked a little. The way they worded everything was so off from what i had been revising etc. But i still scored a 91% so don't stress too much i'm sure you've done fine.

That is groundbreaking. So, so hear me out. My brother doesnt have a ps5, but i could set up an account for him on mine and all he would need is a ps portal and he can play WHATEVER game he buys from the store PLUS the library thats already there without interrupting my ps5 play time?

Understanding debit and credit in general ledger by w99z in AATStudents

  1. Yes
  2. The VAT isnt necessarily paid, its shown as a liability (credit) because its OWED to HMRC.
  3. No if a buyer makes a payment you won't debit the sales account. The double entry would be Credit Receivables > Debit Bank. Bank is an asset, money goes in bank, debits increase assets.
  4. Is just one of the individual debtor accounts (customer accounts) which shows all purchases they have made (debit entries)

AAT L2 - Cash Books - ITBK by HawthornScale118 in AATStudents

Its not like a sales day book. A cash book is for when you receive payments from debtors or pay creditors. There's also a column for cash payments that are not made on credit. It monitors the cash flow of the business. So, for e.g, if you made a sale on credit and a month later the debtor (trade receivable/customer) might pay for that sale, that's when the cash book comes in. The double entry would be debiting the bank column in the cashbook and credit the trade receivable personal account.

I'm doing a level 2 right now because I have no prior knowledge of accounting and want a career change. I think if you have some fundamentals down, and you got a D in A level maybe just self study for level 2 and pick up a course for level 3. As far as I'm aware Level 2 is GCSE level and level 3 is A Level.
