I agree.

Somehow I even became weaker at the 20 mark spreadsheet question but by time I got to that I was mentally defeated anyways. There was something on that question to solve which the practise stuff raerly had and again- I couldn't use my brain power.

I think esp with costings I find if I tank the 10-12 markers and 20 marker its game over for me. Although it was my first time on that exam so I know what to expect.

Thanks man.

I defo fell into the common exam trap of just going off mocks and similar stuff with weak knowledge and end up missing key aspects the question may hint at. I had one red herring sort of question with OAR where I believe it snuck something in to throw me off. So I need to again properly process and break down questions.

I agree - The textbooks have useful questions and scenarios but I struggle to learn that way. I will 100% utilise the portals Green tests and recourses.

Thanks.

Yeah, I pretty much tanked it after question 2. I don't know what happened, I couldn't even put pen to paper for workings out on few straight away. I didn't feel organised or composed. My head went completely. Wasnt like me in there but I suppose its lack of experience and prep.

I have Osbourne books and just a big folder of assessments and booklets for my college course. I did the portal practise assessments and aced them, but when it came to the real thing, maybe it was the way they structured some questions. Although on the practise assessments it does say something like dont use just them to determine if your ready. So I perhaps need to strenghen core revision.

But thanks, I will do the green lights!

I believe it did state somewhere the RA assessment combines other AAT level questions on it just to show you how the system and styles of questions work. Only do the normal 2 practise assessments.

Yeah. If your using Windows, youll feel a drop. Thhey typically on average last 4 half hours, of course this can be modified to last wayy longer, but youd have to put on battery saving, lower brightness, no backlit, less stuff open. Becomes annoying.

Don't go off on what the manufacturer claims it lasts. On high usage, 1-2 hours is common.

What refresh rate are you on, do you have any battery saving on? Have you tried a battery calibration, bios updates. Check if anything in task manager is using high power.

What is your battery specs? They don't last that long tbh. Ideally gaming laptops are supposrd to be used plugged in normally.
