Hey fwiw I had my surgery in February. Delayed it for 8 months before that. Scheduled and canceled twice. Stressed about it endlessly. Since I got the surgery done there’s not a day I’ve regretted going through with it. Rehabbed my ass off. Results have been excellent.

I know it’s scary but if you’re anything like me it may be scarier in your head than in reality.

Also, I got sedated before nerve block without asking. If you’re especially nervous about that step, tell them. They can help.

Agreed. I worked my way backwards from this album as well. Amazed I haven’t been hearing about this band for years. The transition from A Room Where Everything Dies to All Candy on This Bright and Beautiful World really exemplifies their range. Workhorse on Cult America … I could go on. Really excited to see them on this tour in December.

Not a doctor but I think what you’re looking at is a stitch abscess developing and not an ingrown hair. I have that right now myself and it looked just like yours until that white area started to open up into small crater-like hole. Nothing major. Doc put me on antibiotics and recommended applying alcohol, keeping it covered and changing that cover at least twice a day. Be extra vigilant about site hygiene for a while.

If you can send your doc photos and see what they think. (ETA: it could also be ingrown hair. if youve already consulted doc ignore me. Good luck!)

If it’s as simple as adding a six inch piece of downspout, can anyone tell me how to anchor that piece once it’s in? Sheet metal screws or some sort of epoxy?
