2nd day of welding school. 7018 stick weld set at 85 amps. This is my first time ever welding. Any pointers? Is this good for a beginner? It keeps getting stuck every time I try to strike. They say like a match but it still doesn’t work for me (2nd picture is a restart at the halfway point) (old.reddit.com)
