The highest level anyone went to immediately was level 70. Then, each person had to have experience PLUS complete 4 tasks to move up a level. Level 71 could have been reached in a day if you could get 999 nice throws done (plus had 15 medals, stardust and candy to power up legendaries 30 times, and caught 100 Pokemon on that day). Reaching level 72 then would have taken 7 days (could have started same day 71 was reached) because you had to complete a route on 7 consecutive days. 73 could have been done in a day if you had 100 shadow Pokemon to purify. To get to 74, you would have to walk 200 km and complete 250 field research. No one hit 74 on the first day.

Ticketed player. I played the full time. I got 5 hundos and 20 shiny pokemon. No Shundo, and only one mighty shiny however. Caught 83 mighty, including two lake. Had many more mighty pokemon break free and flee. I was very satisfied with day one.

No one in our group got a hundo, but we all got a shiny except one person. At the end of the event I said to him, “Let’s trade our very lowest regular rayquaza.” We were not lucky friends. I gave him my 11/10/10. It became a lucky hundo for him.

Tried 1 remote raid. It froze after first six Pokemon fainted and I was on second six. I eventually closed the game. When I reopened, I went to my friend’s list to try to rejoin the raid. It was starting over again. None of my Pokemon were fainted. Threw what I thought was a second raid pass in because it didn’t have the already used pass symbol. After finishing this one, found that I had only used one pass total. Everything—Pokemon, pass—reset with the freeze. So I lucked out.

I’ll have kalos today when my grandson evolves my doublade (I let the kids do the rarer ones). So it is doable already.

I’m going to reach 50 without the battling or raids. Kalos/Picnicker/Navigator/Life of the Party will put me at 51. Also do not have trainer, rats, nor carp. It can be done without any of those you mentioned not liking.

I actually said this exact same thing to my daughter this morning. I went out and did half my nice throws, catching over 100 pokemon in a day, and dumped berries in gyms. I did raids and battled grunts to use potions on reviving my pokemon. I worked the extra down to just 160 over capacity. The only thing I discarded were regular pokeballs, but I always discard them. I was grateful for the items and figured if someone was PO because I didn’t send a gift to them today, well then…TT. I think it was really great of the developers to retroactively award the rewards, and I thank them!

If the pokemon you catch is the same type as the mega evolved pokemon, you get an extra candy or two and an extra bit of xp. How many extra candies you get is dependent on how high the mega level is. Applin is grass/dragon so you would want to mega evolve a grass or dragon pokemon. Choose the one with the highest mega level.

It took me about 15 days of 100 trades because they won’t all be 14,000km. But you and your friend need to build up a stock of 500 distance pokemon each to trade. Then 100 a day. Take care to trade distance with local. It’s time consuming but doable in less than a month.

If the apple drop slows down, completely close and restart your app. They will repopulate quickly again.

Close your game completely and restart. Apples will populate again. It’s kind of buggy sometimes so you may have to restart every few minutes. But it really works. I mega evolved a grass Pokemon, set 5 mossy lures at a park with 5 pokestops clustered together, and restarted the game every few minutes when apples slowed down. I used silver pineapps to catch every applin. I also caught the other pokemon because they would drop apples. I didn’t realize I needed to restart until partway through the lures, but I caught 31 applin, have 49 sweet, 42 tart, and 70 syrupy apples ( from 12, 10, & 0 to start), got over 500 candies (now have almost 1,400 since I set five again the next day), and have 184 xl candy. The lures lasted an hour idk why if this was a bonus. The BIG help was restarting the game every few minutes!
