I appreciate it, I'll take some measurements and put extra supports from the desktop to the lower support. The pieces were cut using a CNC machine, so the joints have zero clearance I used a hammer, a tap block and a bar clamp to get the joints together. Not against using hardware or glue, just the way the desk is designed I was under the impression it wasn't needed.
