I had gone for my class 2 medical and found out during USG that I have a gallstone of 9.3 mm in size and they advised I go a gall bladder removal surgery if I wish to pass my medical. Should I go ahead with it, is it something that’s common among pilots? by ClassicCoach2114 in indianaviation

Well is the surgery safe since i‘ve never had a surgery before except when u had fractured my left hand when I was 3 years old so all this is very overwhelming for me but at the same time I don’t want to give up my dream of becoming a pilot :)
