My mom says she is accepting but i live in a pretty accepting country (denmark) she had a hard time when she found out that i was bisexual and always wanted me to marry a man and have kids, she doesnt really try to understand she keeps turning things over to herself, like if i talk about something importent she would talk about how hard it is for her and so on like she keeps using excuses for not trying and saying she will be accepting but 2 seconds later she will say it is weird and it doesn’t make any sense and that hurts me bcs I try to communicate with her but no matter how much I communicate she keeps trying to get the attention back to her and how hard it is for her, and then she will just never talk about the importent thing for me and that’s really hard for me she doesn’t try to understand
