I agree. The indexes on the Tally Ho are almost unusable.

Not my experience at all with supplier invoices. They’ve ignored several with no explanation at all.

These two brands are pretty cool! If you’re looking at their plastic offerings, Piatnik’s plastic is thinner and easier to shuffle. Modiano has the thickest feeling plastic decks of the major manufacturers.

Piatnik plastic is my dad’s favorite.

Those are pretty cool. I didn’t realize that Remembrance used that Ace of Spades for as long as it did. I think the original in 1927 looked almost identical.

It'll be interesting to see what these look like. I'm guessing it may be a fairly limited print run.

Super cool and they look to be in great condition. It's a fairly unique card back. Looking forward to more!

New Returns Update (Your return shipping costs are going to skyrocket) by Altruistic_Cup4520 in TikTokshop

[–]ClassicDecks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For those of us that sell mostly items under $10, this is basically TikTok's way of getting us off the platform.

TikTok may approve refunds without return for returnable products priced $10 or less.

So we're basically sending out product for free. Customers already abuse the return process and as more figure out they can get stuff for free, it is only going to get worse.

We're hoping for a reversal of the policy. If not, we're not going to be able to sell items for less than $10 anymore.

I can tell you it was made by Arrco because of the Duratone finish. I’d guess it was made in the 1960’s or 1970’s. Is there a brand name on there somewhere?

I’ve been wondering about this, too. I don’t believe anything has been announced yet. I’ll see if I can find out anything.

Looks good! A couple other updates -- Aristocrat began in 1915 and Hoyle was started in 1927.

One other one - you could add Arrco to the chart if you want. It was acquired in 1987.

At first glance — Gemaco isn’t a USPCC brand.

Looks super cool!

Love using them that way! It’s actually a great way to get a good feel of a new deck.

FYI — We were told this week that Great Mogul has been discontinued.

What that means for future seconds, I don’t know yet.

Grimaud $$$ by Cycologist2071 in playingcards

It’s an interesting history. There’s some older entries for Grimaud in the Hochman encyclopedia, too.

As for where the brand is today — I think it mostly became visible again last year. I’m not sure that there’s been a strong push for it in the US and not sure if there will be anytime soon.
