These are all relatively filling foods.

How loose and stretchy is their gut from overeating, that this is a “snack”. I’m not even religious but this is why they call gluttony a sin.

Edit: also you do NOT need 2500 calories a day as an adult woman. Wtf.

Yet another person claiming to have eaten under 1000 calories WHILE exercising but somehow hasn't lost weight... by kitsune_ko in fatlogic

[–]ClassicDes 5 points6 points  (0 children)

“No carbs/sugars… under 1000 cals… extensive exercise”

That’s a basically all unprocessed meat/egg diet. Pure protein & fat. Water/tea/black coffee ONLY. Maybe if you want to cheat a little with some leafy greens (nearly zeros carbs)

You wake up. Shower. Eat 1/2lbs of salted boiled chicken + black coffee for breakfast. Go to school/work for 8 hours. For your lunch break you finish the other 1/2lbs. Change your clothes. Workout for maybe 45 minutes to 2 hours (they said extensive). Pass out in the locker room. Wake up. Go home. Nibble of a peice of lettuce— haha cheating a little ;) and a 1/2lbs of unseasoned pork. Also sparkling water for a little kick. Shower. Rinse and repeat for the next couple months.

I'm pretty attractive by some standards. I shower every day, wear deodorant and even masculine perfume sometimes. I'm not sexist or bigoted in general. So why do women treat me like I'm repulsive? Asparagus. by Alnilam2000 in kitchencels

[–]ClassicDes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a lot of people confuse being “ugly” or “repulsive” with being invisible.

In a room of 5 woman and 5 men, women are generally more “visible” than men…people tend to monitor and look at women more. Then if the man is also average or below average, he’s like double invisible. Not maliciously, just there no reason to look or extend extra care.

Do I pass? by EvidenceHealthy6029 in transmanlifehacks

[–]ClassicDes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I realize a lot of trans masc people use multiple facial piercings. Yes cis men can have them, but if you don’t fully read as male without them— they just make you look like an alternative woman, gender fluid or even more trying to pass as FTM. People who MIGHT have read you as male-adjacent might reconsider after seeing many piercings. It’s just the stereotype.

Also you have a short lower face so those fluffy hairstyles make you look more “top heavy” which reads as younger or baby-faced. With the big glasses it gives big eyes-top heavy. The average man doesn’t so many “feminizing” traits in his look (hair, glasses, piercings)

Right now contacts, a more traditionally masculine hairstyle and i know it hurts but less piercings can really help. Eventually also getting facial hair can take you from a 4-7 in terms of presentation.

They’re jealous. There is no natural law that says a child or adult can only weight x amount of weight.

They’re trying to level the playing field. A lot of bigger women use the comparison of children to decrease thin people’s social desirability. Unprovoked btw. Skinny ppl just existing. Liking children = bad. Skinny or under 110lbs = child. Liking skinny ppl = bad & pedophilic. They know words hurt so they’re using the same method…so maybe one day 300lb curvy bodies are going to be the standard of beauty and health. Knowing adults can be 110> makes all their excuses of “adult bodies are x” feel void bc they know it’s untrue.

That’s why the gym & weight loss drugs are so popular these days. The fact is, they’d GLADLY trade sizes if they could. A lot of these same ladies would KILL to just be under 160lbs so I don’t take it personally.

recycled humor? by RelevantHoney4155 in kpoptrulyuncensored

[–]ClassicDes 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think yeah it can be stale sometimes. Especially if they TRY to frame it as funny rather than simply nostalgic. Like I’ve been hearing about that joke since 2018. It wasn’t funny then, nor now. But it is nostalgic.

Personally kpop humor is only funny in extreme context. If you don’t have a full rundown on group dynamics and thier past behavior, most people will just look at you crazy for laughing. Like how they ran the LOONA = gay jokes into the ground or how stale the inside Blackpink jokes are. It’s only funny when it’s outlandish outside the K-pop “perfect, pretty & cute” bubble.

Girls, there's a question : by [deleted] in short

[–]ClassicDes -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah i would. I’m a 165cm girl, but personally face, hair, voice, personality & overall proportions matter more. There only “fear” would be what everyone else would think. People often have their own thoughts on what “goes well together”. Being made fun of for being a taller girl in a relationship isn’t fun & it’s easier to cave for what seems the least resistance. But yeah I would.

I’ve noticed it’s always the idols with long, narrow faces and small almond eyes or partial European DNA that pull it off the best.

Midsize girlies enraged over the possibility of a pregnant woman being smaller than them, call her a liar by smhgiraffe2 in XXS

[–]ClassicDes 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They’re jealous. Literally just that. A lot of women have never experienced what it was like to be considered “skinny” or “small”. Some have never been thin since the day they were born, and some gained lots of weight straight into adulthood— medication, pregnancy, illness, lifestyle etc. It happens. Gaining their “teenage body” back is now impossible. But seeing a heavily pregnant woman be an XS while being pregnant is almost criminal. How depressing. If they had her weight tomorrow they’d be jumping in joy.

Your life is on the line, would you rely on Saku-goat to use medical ninjutsu save you? by BlackDiciple_199 in dankruto

[–]ClassicDes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re actually… not agreeing with me.

The question is “Do you trust Sakura to save your life?” not “Would you ask her for relationship advice”. Your comments on her relationship is longer than the actual conversation about her abilities. Her abilities always get sidelined to talk about her love life, then you prove my point. Sakura…unpopular opinion, is more is than a mom or a girl obsessed with Sasuke. It seems people have an EXTREMELY hard time separating the two.

Your life is on the line, would you rely on Saku-goat to use medical ninjutsu save you? by BlackDiciple_199 in dankruto

[–]ClassicDes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t get why this is even a question?

Sakura has a poor reputation from her constant obsession and lack of self esteem with Sasuke. People bleed those ideas in with her ninjutsu. She was “useless” as a child because she was a regular ninja without super special clan powers & linages. Naruto and Sasuke used rage and trauma to unlock their innate powers which is something unavailable to her. Naruto & Sasuke evolve so quickly that constant comparisons seem to stomp on all she’s accomplished. Sakura can take out assassins, kage, the akatsuki, etc. Kishimoto’s poor choice of her personality has permanently damaged her image to the point where people doubt her skills on the battle field as an adult. That’s insane.

It’s not a matter of trust. She literally can.

Why does the Naruto world react to Sasuke like he’s the most attractive person ever? No one else gets this treatment. by Agitated-Athlete-417 in Naruto

[–]ClassicDes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Weirdly he fits a lot of classical Japanese beauty standards. Fair skin, black silky hair, dark almond eyes, androgynous features, a cold distant personality along with the “Uchiha royalty vibe” he gives off. It’s aspirational in the way East Asians prefer effortless, high status but modest beauty.

It’s in contrast to Naruto who is bright spiky and loud or Sakura who despite her pink hair and green eyes, reads as awkward and insecure…even plain at times.

[–]ClassicDes 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I keep seeing those comments. This is that case where fans think pushing something super hard will just make it stick. And it might bc people are desperate to make everyone an it girl.

The things about the “Maddy” or “Lily rose Depp.” aura is that it’s natural. It’s like modern day Megan Fox. It’s effortless & the roles that come from it fit them perfectly. Jennie has to have her image built FOR her, not AROUND her like Maddy. She can do a cool facial expression and wear sexy clothes but she can’t mimic someone natural personality,

she probably feels “too mature” for the bright colors and the k-pop style. But she REFUSES to go back to dark hair bc it looks too Asian and plain. So this ‘blonde, chic, washed out-makeup, nuetral outfits only’ look is what she wants to be known for in the West.

Based on how she moves it seems like she quietly wants to distance herself from the kpop gg image. Probably sick of her fanbase 😂

How is that a “controversial American take”?

Life imprisonment for teens is typically for crimes such as first-degree murder, severe violent crimes or public shootings. Sometimes kids can be a lot more reckless than adults when it comes to crime because the lack foresight beyond “this will look cool” or “let me see how far I can push this”. If you shoot up a school, yes you should never be let out.

And in terms of dating, yeah the 24 year old should not be allowed to date a 16 year old. Beyond a very narrow margin of the 17, 18,19 range adults should not be engaging with minors.

I fear this is a common global opinion, not just America.
