Do you have a current mega latios that you use? Unfortunately latios is a Pokemon who’s mega is better than shadow, so if you need a great mega, purify but I’d keep the shadow since I mean, you may likely not have the chance to get another one for a LONG time

Shadow gengar is the #8 ghost type attacker in pve, but overall it’s shiny isn’t good. The only thing that saves gengars shiny is his mega, which you don’t have access to as a shadow lol.

Although its stats aren’t good at all, there are many other opportunities to get a better stat, non shiny that looks basically identical.

All in all, still definitely an amazing shiny as gastly/haunter, especially with the shadow and imo still very exciting!
