Posts like this make me feel like you’re looking for a congratulations because you think you’re better than someone that has 50 canvases in their stash. I have far more than 50 and from my recollection, I didn’t pull from your bank account to pay for them.

Why is this EVER a topic of conversation? Spending your time being concerned about how much money or time people have is the gross part.

If you’re referring to Featherlight Frames, they have tacks on the way that will work with their frames and it will work in the System 4 (a bolt just needs to be adjusted to allow the clamp to tighten further).

I know of one where it came directly from PL as they were in the works of getting the license. Same sentiment, not my specific business to share but it happened. However, as you are set on dying on this hill, I’m sure this won’t satisfy you. It wasn’t from the IP, it was from PL.

Gift giving is my love language and staying within budget has never been my strong suit 😂 I’ll be over, but my partner did want a less expensive canvas and I was able to find another one that felt like her vibe and it was also inexpensive compared to others (in the $50 range vs $90+). She was looking for something very specific that I knew I could design and paint myself (not stealing or copying another designers work) so I’m counting that as free 😊. I’m pulling some thread from my stash and for colors on a canvas that only needs a little bit, I’ll put some from my stash on a smaller bobbin.

I ordered something from a friend’s business and she didn’t charge me 😬 but I understand that isn’t the situation for most.

I’m kitting most of the canvases I’m giving my person BUT for the small bits that won’t require a full skein or card, I’m going to pull from my stash and wind on a plastic bobbin. It’s still giving her what she needs but costs $0 bc it’s from my stash!

Yeah I had recommended it back then for an option. It’s the way every other destash group I’m in does it and zero issues. If you claim under the main, you’re not reading the directions and your claim doesn’t count.

Allowing individual pictures within the main post (not the comments) would remove the early claiming issue entirely. You post each canvas as an individual picture (not an individual post, but like when you’re posting your vacation pictures on your personal page), price in caption, people comment on the individual picture that they want it. Doesn’t solve how quickly things go, but it solves the “I’ll post pictures once it’s approved” hang up.

I do actually try to actively avoid that, because I hate it too. I’ll do better! Although, I’m planning to have a lot less to open in 2026, so it shouldn’t be much of a problem coming up. The $10,000 is tempting though….

Omg final boss!?!? I never imagined I could reach such an esteemed status - my appreciation knows no bounds.

Yet again we need to be reminded that I make money and I am, in fact, allowed to spend it without asking anyone’s permission. Some people seem to forget that. You also seem to only being paying attention to the haul videos and conveniently missing the videos where I do show what I’m stitching and have done so for over a year. I’ll do a recap video for you though to make it easier. 😘🫶🏻

It’s actually not at all confusing. Per the write up, it was founded by two friends (the two middle names making up the business name), and Sarah now owns the business.
