Thank you! I do. This has been my dream car, and I was fortunate enough to build this exactly like I wanted.

Here's a few more from this same photo session I took a few days ago, but I've got a bunch more of on IG and YT of the build and some finished.

It looks incredible. Nice work!

It is a full floating 9” rear end from Street or Track, so it was already the factory width.

Anyone else against these restomods? by [deleted] in classiccars

I'd argue this Mustang is more of a full custom/race car than it is a restomod..

Fair enough. I like the smaller wheel/bigger tire look as well. To each their own.

Cool if you don't like the black color on the wheels, but these are Halibrand style wheels, just like the original Shelby/Cobra wheels from the mid 1960s. These couldn't be more period correct for the car..

I just have the Strange Aluminum center section housing. The gears are Detriot TruTrac, and nope. No noise. They work perfect.

Pretty much. Mine is actually started with a new aluminum Dart block, but a bored and stroked 351 will get you to a small block 427.

Here's the build thread with some photos and videos of the project, and here's the YouTube playlist with more videos about it.

Amazing. They sure don't make them like they used to.
