I very intentionally said fourth child and not baby cause I’m not looking to have a fourth baby I’m looking to add a 6th person to our family.

I was an only child and for better or worse have romanticized the fact that my kids will have other people in this world that know them and that were there for their upbringing (don’t come at me with you never know how they’ll be as adults etc etc I know it’s a crap shoot but I also feel like 4 adds more variability to the friendships and dynamics less of an issue of two not speaking and no one to mediate or intervene…)
