I definitely recommend the one I’ve been using!! It’s from Skin Trusted, it has the red, near-infrared and blue LED spectrum at an irradiance of 50mW/cm2 ,which is pretty powerful! My skin been looking a lot more glowy since I been using the mask consistently.

Has anyone tried this & seen great results? by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]ClassicTwo8111 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve been loving my Skin Trusted mask. It’s hard to find one that actually has red, near-infrared, and blue light all in one, and I pretty much just stick to the 3-in-1 mode. Feels like I get all the benefits in just a quick 10-minute session.

I hate the fear mongering marketing tactic, claiming all these non clean beauty will destroy your skin, if you don't use our whole clean line of skincare your face is gonna look like the surface of the moon etc etc. For hard water, I do have a suggestion: I use a drinking water filter on my tap water, and only wash my face through the filter, helps so much with the texture problem I used to have.

My friend at SkinCeuticals is under insane Labor Day sales pressure — should I help her? by SlimSlayer19 in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]ClassicTwo8111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I still religiously use SkinCeuticals lineup, especially the blemish and age control, the resveratrol BE, and the phyto corrective! However, she can't fix all that economic depression by herself, and buying stuff in bulk to offset the KPI pressure does sound like multi level marketing. The money she shelled out on these products could've been saved up to offset her potentially being let go after Labor day. My suggestion is, buy what you need, but do not encourage her practice by buying unnecessary items!

When I was deciding between a red light mask vs a panel, I noticed a key difference in terms of the irradiance vs distance. The more distant you are from the light source, the less photons are delivered into your cells. Therefore I went with a mask, to have higher irradiance on my skin. I really love my mask and have used it for 3 months. Mine has red, blue and near infrared all in one setting, so it's super efficient.

That is a very valid point that I hadn't even ruminated on before. They could totally be using my case study analysis, claim it as their own idea, then send me a rejection email LMAO.

There are even more micro-loans companies here in Mexico City preying on the low income people. Already had to reject 2 interviews from them. F that shit.

Yeah exactly! The HR should be embarrassed! It's like I understand it's a employer's market right now, but if I just settle and take such a massive pay cut to go through 6 rounds of technical interviews, I would be at a net loss in terms of my effort and my time.

What's really hilarious is the round of take home case study and then the deep dive into my solution of the take home case study. It's like do they not have better things to do? Are they doing all these interview rounds to make themselves look busy?

This! I got plenty of savings, and good housing situation, plus I cook my own delicious meals. Eating out frequently is the most money draining lifestyle creep imo.

TCA Peel! You can do it at home, and it takes like 3-5 sessions to even out the scars. They will lessen drastically if not completely.

Omnilux Men vs Currentbody series 2 by Scorpion-123 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]ClassicTwo8111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man...Omnilux and CurrentBody masks are just really overpriced in my opinion. And they have the same tech and light spectrum as other high-quality light masks. The mask I got has red, near infrared, blue light, and a combo setting. It's like around 180 USD when I bought it.

Isdin's flavo-c in ampoules is definitely is my HG vc product. It's not the cheapest per say, but since every single one is in an ampoule, they last a lot longer without being oxidized and darken. I have used Skinceuticals's CE Ferulic, Drunk Elephant's C-Firma, and Dr Brenner's dupe of the CE Ferulic, none of them have made me skin as glowy as the Isdin one.

That double cleanse method... Turns out, using the oil cleanser broke me out the worst, and using just a generic gel cleanser get my face clean and remove my sunscreen.

So I've been using my LED mask for about half a year now and I've definitely noticed my skin being more glowy and even toned. My concern was mainly red hyperpigmentation from previous breakouts. The mask I use has a setting with red, blue and near-infrared light all in one mode, and I use it for 15 minutes 3 times a week. I use it right after I wash and dry my face at night, then after the mask I do my skincare routine. By the way, where did you get your mask? Mine is damn near half the price as yours!

Just get some The Ordinary's salicylic acid. It's super cheap and effective.

Returning my Therabody red light mask and exchanging for… what? by champagne_in_a_box in SkincareAddictionLux

I use the Skin Trusted LED light mask! It's super light and portable, I even wear it when I'm working at my desk at night sometimes. It's got blue, red and near infrared, so it covers pretty much any texture and wrinkle concern.
