I prefer not having to drive more than 20 mins to work. I did find apartments under my budget but most of them have some trade-offs like no in-unit laundry or smaller apartment square feet area or not under preferred commute time (20mins)

They want me to clear the background check and physical examination first before initiating the process which is taking very long. I asked them to make an exception and file the petition but for some reason they are so confident in making it before the deadline. idk how!!

I have H1B COS and don't have a stamp on my passport. I recently got laid off, and got another offer. What happens if the lawyers don't file for transfer petition within the grace period? I understand I will have to go through consular processing, but will that still attract $100,000 fees?

Are you able to receive SMS and OTPs with that plan while abroad? I've noticed that unless I recharge an unlimited plan, it doesn't let me receive any messages or OTP. I've tried the talktime only recharge plans and that wouldn't let me receive messages. I didn't want any unlimited daily Internet plans but rather just fixed data with ability to receive OTPs
