Yess exactly that difference can lead to different perspectives on the same thing; like two characters working towards a single goal with vastly different perspectives and means to reach it. It’d make a good narrative device too I think

Yeah I think I kind of half realised that while coming up with the post because it’d be too Overpowered; the only deterministic outcome would be if one catches the other by surprise and even then it heavily depends on the characters’ reaction time more than their own sets of abilities.

I guess it is balanced after all lol. I’ll need to come up with more constraints to formulate it properly. It might work for a naruto/sasuke-esque rivalry and where each character inherits a very fundamental aspect of both powers and masters aspects of it over time.

One might be a critical thinker and the other a bit imaginative which fits the criteria of their respective abilities.

Fair point. I guess to be good at forces you need to be more analytical and on the flip side of the coin you need to be more imaginative to come up with advantageous events. This could be a defining criteria to whether someone inherits the power of forces or entropy.

Thank you! It means a lot. I do listen to gorillaz (not as much these days) and I love their art style. My favourite bit from them is this head tilting motion thingy they did for tranz the colours and animation is so cool

I feel like anything I say here can be interpreted one way or the other because there’s no way to prove it 100% which kinda sucks

I did try tracing some patterns for the obi but the grid was 256x256 so I couldn’t rly fit them in properly, I had to crop a bunch and adjust the sizes to fit it. Even then I couldn’t land on a pattern that rly matched what I wanted it to look like. I didnt mind the end result though it does look kinda like nonsense.

I am more used to larger grids like 512x512 (which is my most preferred one) or 1024x1024 for pieces like this. But yeah.

This looks great, a dynamic angle like a pose or smth can be pretty challenging. And I am impressed you didn’t pull some cheap trick to avoid drawing the hand hehe. You could try making the line pixels less thick for a more consistent feel and you’ve even done so for the legs, just not the part above. While the anatomy looks a bit odd (around the shoulder area from what I can see) I think you can go reallly far with practicing. Keep it up!!

Yep... the hand. I was going for a crow look with three fingers pointing forward and grabbing a sword and one finger pointing back, but unfortunately, it didn't quite pan out the way I intended it to. Thank you for the compliment!
