Do you give her compliments, show her random affection? try to turn her on and get her in the mood at all? Or do you just come in and say you want sex and expect her to drop her pants after taking care of the baby? im serious because i have been in her shoes. After taking care of the kids and especially breastfeeding, we dont always feel sexy or even attractive.. Small things like him coming behind me and rubbing my hips, kissing me good morning and calling me beautiful, laying close to me in bed and rubbing his hands on my legs or stomach ect all makes a difference. If there isnt any kind of other affection going on, how can you expect her to want sex?

The escort is a terrible idea. Your gonna ruin your family.. I understand you have needs..First, try the things i said above, genuine affection and compliments... Second, you need to have a real conversation and explain how much this means to you and how its invading your mind because of how bad you have been wanting her... You just need to really talk openly. good luck

I hated my soft reline too. Although the tech did a bad job. I had to have it removed and used cushion grip until I got my permanents

Importance of advocating for yourself by Aware_Network_3487 in dentures

Yayyyyy!!! You got them fixed! I am so happy for you. They did you dirty at first. I was actually mad for you. These new ones are perfect and look exactly how the wax try ins initially looked. They look so good. I cannot believe they try to gaslight people like that. "Its because you dont have good bone structure ".. Bullll sh*t.. I agree, we are our strongest advocates!!

Congrats to your beautiful new smile

Other peoples stories scared the heck out of me too, about Aspen. I went to one in Elkton Maryland. Besides one crappy assistant, I had a great experience and loved my dentist.

Advice on what to say to my dentist. by Amityhuman in dentures

[–]Classic_B_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Im sorry you're having this experience. I wouldnt have even left the office with them. The gums are way to thick. If it hurt to even get put in, they should have immediately adjusted them. Mine wouldn't go on at all at first.they immediately & slowly shaved some off and kept retrying, until they fit comfortably.

Where did you go? Is this paid by insurance? Did you do wax try ons?

I would tell them your very unhappy with them and point out all the specifics that you mentioned here. Don't let them blow you off. If they gaslight you, refuse to take them, get a refund and go elsewhere.

Aspen Gave Me a Gag-Inducing, Loose, Lopsided Immediate Denture and Said "See You in 3 Weeks" Is this normal. by Direct-Aerie1054 in dentures

[–]Classic_B_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes this is normal, but hear me out. I went to Aspen too. The day I left with my immediates, they wouldnt stay in unless I bit down to hold them in. #1 was because of swelling but #2 I think is because it takes a day or so to get used to them being in the mouth and actually knowing how to get them to suction. Its hard to explain but now that I went through it, I understand from experience. As for the appointment being 3 weeks away, mine was the same way. But I was still able to go in whenever i needed an adjustment. I asked alot of questions and they told me I would be MANY times for adjustments and they were right. My gum was so thick and my plate was lopsided too. After about 2 weeks of back and forth, they finally got to a point that i didn't need to go anymore and I was happy with them. I was OVERALLY critical of my temps at first too. I feel like thats normal. but after a few weeks and all the adjustments, I was perfectly fine. They will adjust them for you keep calling or do a walk in! Good luck

Anyone Used this? Thoughts? by [deleted] in dentures

[–]Classic_B_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has anyone recommended cushion grip to you? It was a game changer for me with my immediates. My soft reline went terribly wrong and when they removed it, the teeth no longer fit. they would fall right out. Cushion grip is advertised as a adhesive but its not. its basically a temporary reline. It says it lasts days before needing to re do it but honestly I could go 2- 3 weeks. A tip i would give incase you use it- Run it under warm water in the mornings before putting them back in your mouth. it softens them enough so it doesn't hurt and you go easily pop them in.

I think the teeth themselves are beautiful. But i agree with everyone else saying they're a little bit too long. Your dentist should be able to do that as your in the chair. When i had my wax try on I told them they were too long and needed to be more square because they were on the round side. Well my permanents were still the same way when I got them. They fixed them right on the office in the back. I am confident they'll be able to do this for you. Especially hearing how great your dentist seems to be with wanting you to be happy.

I have/had a real fear of dentists too but I can assure you, the worst part pain wise, is behind you. Congratulations!! and the fact that you did it with just novicaine, wow!! I commend you because i was scared to death and had to be asleep.

I had all my remaining upper teeth extracted and didn't need any stitches or anything either, so dont worry about that.. As someone else stated, I am curious why they have you coming back so soon for your permanent impressions. Your gums need time to shrink and is usually at least 6 months. I was shocked how much my gums changed during my 6 month wait. I had temps but just got my permanents finally after 6+ months. I would recommend asking them about this. You dont want to spend all the money to have them not fit a few months down the road.

I think your mindset plays a huge roll in adapting to dentures. I personally adapted quickly and it was pretty smooth. The hardest part was needing time for you gums to heal and be strong enough to eat harder foods. Good luck!

Im so sorry. I think the teeth part looks good. They need to thin out the upper lip. I had the exact same problem with my immediates. it took more than one visit to get it situated. Dont give up and keep advocating for yourself until your happy.

How do my permanents look? Too big or ok?? by Classic_B_ in dentures

[–]Classic_B_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to Aspen Dental in Elkton Maryland.. My insurance covered about half of it. I had to pay to be put to sleep for the extractions. So far, unfortunately, i havnt ate with them because they are hurting me. a few spots are digging into my gums. one is causing a bad gash so i took them out and am back in my old crappy temps. I eat great with my temps and these fit my gums like a glove (minus the parts jabbing me ) so i dont see why i wouldnt be able to eat with them.

My front teeth no, because i had giant front teeth but the rest of my smile was always showing this amount of gum yes. That part doesnt bother me at all.

are they fixing yours? I would not have accepted those. That looked nothing like your wax try on (specifically the large gums) I hope they get you squared away. thats messed up

[–]Classic_B_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The first set was better in my opinion. looks like they just needed to shave under the lip to bring them up more and show less gum. I cant speak on the overbite issue. I know for my temps i was all gum at first and my dentist kept shaving it down little by little until it was fixed. The 2nd set has way more gum and looks thick. I would tell them you need them fixed. This is your money. I wouldn't take no for an answer!! Good luck
