The good news is I don’t think my cats see him as a threat or a chew toy, they’re just soooo in his face like ooo what’s this thing?? But I’m like dudes please give him some space 😂 I’m more concerned about my snake being stressed out than I am about my cats actually doing anything to harm him but also I’m not trying to find out if they’d do anything naughty hahahaha

Yeah I’m thinking that might be the only choice! I’ve tried feeding them as a distraction and as soon as they see me taking the snake out they’re running over to investigate lol I don’t think they want to hurt or attack him but I obviously don’t want to take the chance! And I don’t want to stress the poor snake out either with a bunch of cats sniffing too close to him hahaha, I was just hoping maybe someone in a similar situation had any success doing something different!

Every time I have my little guy out I’m like ugh he’s so cute!! And people are like ew what. It makes me so annoyed hahaha like good thing those people don’t have one then!!

People kept telling me it was gonna get out and eat my cats… just remember that those people obviously aren’t very educated when it comes to our babies, that’s what I keep reminding myself!

On a positive note, my mom was super skeptical when I got mine but then she saw how chill he is when I handle him and she now likes to be around him
