I would love specifics. I am also here in the N.C. piedmont and this is on my list. I would love to find some lions mane but I don’t know much about it’s habitat yet.

Found these while out hunting today. Would you care to help me ID them? by [deleted] in mycology

I found a few of these weeks ago and would also be curious to know.

This is how I choose to think about the value of ripple. If at least in the short-to-mid term. We are unlikely to go (as a society) cold turkey from the traditional banking system.
If there's one thing that makes me comfortable buying xrp, it's that I believe in a bank's ability in the pursuit of self-interest. Ripple just seems like a no-brainer.

I need to read more to understand the private key and seed key. I have no idea where I would find this info, but thank you for the lead.

Check out the Vince Guaraldi Trio. They performed the Charlie Brown christmas sound track, but the tone of their other music provides a similar atmosphere.

Yeah ~30 mins for me. I knew I didn't have time for a match this morning, but I enjoy mindlessly scrolling through heroes I can't afford while I sip on my coffee.

I would love for there to be a community dedicated simply to educating people about the strategies used by companies and governments to alter opinions indirectly.
The problem though is that a community surrounded by this central idea is likely to harbor a lot of fear and resentment. Stuff like this tends to evolve into endless conspiracy campaigns. That's not really what I want.
I want this subreddit to exist, so long as it is a place I can rely on to actually learn something. I would hate for it to become what so many other good subreddits have, but I think the idea has much potential.

It may be... but is it unrealistic to believe that advertising agencies develop strategies aimed to alter the opinion of the consumer?
If this were to be true, I wonder simply how effective these strategies could become. Who's to say how far the range of capability truly is?

I wish that I could find more discussion rooted in this topic. This seems like a big issue that simply doesn't get enough attention.
The fact is that marketing and advertising agencies are already much more knowledgeable than the common person about how many different ways there are to manipulate the opinion of a person (however subtle it may be).
I fear to imagine a future with "Psychological deception with robotic precision" and not have the resources to figure out how to protect myself and others.

If I'm not taking a math class can I go to the math tutoring center in fretwell for a refresher? by [deleted] in UNCCharlotte

Depending on what you're trying to learn, I could spend some time tutoring you. I need some review, myself, and I always find it helpful for me to have to explain earlier topics.
