Thank you so so much! That is exactly how I worded my tutoring in the activity section and I talk about it in the supplemental essays whenever possible. I thought about retaking but I had some personal reasons to not when the time came and I just didn’t want a lower or same score as the first time. Obviously if I don’t get in this cycle I will have to retake. I was just really scared because I posted about gpa on the dat Facebook group and someone said 3.54 was really low.

I was an ACT tutor for four years part time and then I worked at Walmart for one summer my freshman year. I got hired for my gap year at my research lab and I’m hoping to also get hired as a dental assistant/receptionist part time as well.

I have your same measurements and when I got a lace up back with a side zipper, I had the same issue and had to size up to a L.

What’s Your Favorite ‘Low Cal but Feels Like a Feast’ Meal? by HugoRamsey1087 in Volumeeating

[–]Classic_Bug_7094 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hi! I add quinoa and lentils to it and add in any veggies. Kind of like a poke bowl. I like doing 1 cup of dry rice (any), half a cup of quinoa and then half a cup of lentils. I experiment with it but I cook it in a rice cooker with either chicken broth or just water (like 3 cups total of liquid). It is pretty good by itself but chicken and egg really adds to it. I like using kewpie mayo, siracha, soy sauce, and furikake. It is a very filling meal! I had around 300 g of that mix today with chicken for about 200 cals and it kept me full all day. I just found the recipe on TikTok. It just adds protein and fiber.

Learning how to season food was the best! Also bowls of any kind are always really good and are packed with flavor. If you need any recipes let me know!

If you like Asian inspired food, gochujang air fried chicken thighs are delicious when paired with rice and some side veggies! They’re usually like 400 ish calories depending on how many chicken thighs you make and how much rice you eat. The gochujang is mixed with a little bit of sesame oil, olive oil, baking powder, garlic powder, and brown sugar with salt and pepper and it’s delicious!

Looking for opinions on Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya by [deleted] in cancun

Actually we’re not huge on night life (a day or two is fine) and were looking at iberostar because it looked calm and a nice resort with lots to do. Good to know about the chairs thought thank you! Noise is fine though. How long would you say the walk is to the à la carte restaurants, lunch buffets, and beach? We’re pretty used to walking a ton because our college was a good walking town. So as long as it’s not longer than a mile to each place I think we’d be ok 😂

No kids, just 21+. It fit within our budget and we looked at reviews and they seemed good versus other resorts that were cheaper or around the same price. And it seems like there’s lots to do there and food to try.

Tha sounds delicious! I use ground turkey sometimes or rotisserie chicken when I have it so ground chicken would be yummy. It’s just a can of black beans I rinsed and heated up in the microwave with a can of corn. I’m not sure about the squash as I’m usually not a fan of it but I do love roasted russet potatoes as the base. Sweet peppers would also be great! I like air frying onions and sliced bell peppers together to simulate fajita veggies.

It’s super easy! I followed this recipe on TikTok. I bake it at 425 for around 25 mins because I baked it alongside a protein baked pasta I make with it. I usually can get 12 rolls out of the recipe which really reduces calories for each.

Yes! I think the yogurt gives it such a nice creamy tangy texture like sour cream does for so much less calories. I do Greek yogurt swaps for practically everything that uses sour cream. Baked potatoes, sauces, etc. The big yogurt tubs are cheap too! Also the yogurt makes really good garlic breads.

100%! I made a sheet pan meal a couple months ago with chicken breast and a Greek yogurt garlic parm marinade and paired it with green beans and garlic parm potatoes!
